About this house rental
This lovely new 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin is located MINUTES from The Biltmore Estate, Asheville Outlets, Blue Ridge Parkway, Bent Creek and Downtown, but still has the feeling of a private wooded environment. Enjoy the view of the mountains with a horse farm in the backdrop and the occasional family of deer crossing the path, while sipping your coffee on the covered porch in the pristine forest location. Nicely appointed home features comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, wi-fi and 55” tv.
The space
If you an outdoor enthusiast, you will love the hiking, mountain biking, road biking, kayaking, white water rafting, snow skiing and horseback riding just minutes from the cabin. A regular drum circle, organized by residents in Pritchard Park, is open to all and has been a popular local activity every Friday evening.
Other things to note
There is a $75.00 pet fee for one dog, each additional dog is $25.00. This will need to be paid at the time of check in.

This spot was further away than we realized. It took us 25-30 minutes to get most anywhere we wanted to go. (Canton, downtown, East AVL, etc.) It was a peaceful property - if you're looking for farmhouse vibes, this is the place. My son loved seeing all the horses and chickens. Ultimately, however, I would stay elsewhere on my next visit to the area. There were a few frustrations that could have been avoided with more thorough instructions. (like how to lock the door) I don't expect a spotless property, but this spot was not up to my cleanliness standards. When you first enter, you notice it just looks...shabby. There were cobwebs in the corners of some rooms, stains on walls/pillowcases/upholstery, a wad of hair (not ours) under the fitted sheet on one bed. I was surprised to find our socks were covered in dark brown grit after walking across the living room - the floors definitely needed to be mopped. I did inquire about the possibility of early check-in, which the hosts graciously granted, but I never intended to rush their cleaning process. I would much rather have checked in at the usual time if it meant a cleaner place. To add insult to injury, there were a few required chores at checkout. To be clear, I don't mind doing those if the property I'm staying in is clean when I arrive, but this was not. All in all, I do think for the money we spent, it was not the best value. It's a cute spot, but it needs some TLC.
