About this house rental

Location, Location (see map): There are seven miles of pristine, quartz sand beaches shimmering along our island and you’ll be sitting within walking distance. Nothing between you and the salty , azure waters but one sunscreen application and a pair of flips flops (You can see the beach access of 66th St from in front of the vacation home). You will have a short 5 minutes walk or 1 minute bike-ride to the beach.

But with this perfect located vacation home you also have the possibility to bring your boat or put your kayaks in the dock. Visit a sandbank with it`s wonderful shells or the Island of “Egmont Key” with it`s wildlife and amazing beaches. Or a paddle-tour with the kayaks through the azure sea, next to manatees and dolphins.

Prepare your drinks at home and walk to the beach for these incredible sunsets at the Gulf of Mexico. With this beachhouse you can have it all.

Refresh in the crystal-clear pool when coming back from the beach or boat-trip, relax in the quiet, tropical and spacious garden area while watching the springing fishes and herons in the canal. Keep sitting under the covered outside area at the pool when you will be surprised by this short “liquid sunshine of Florida” during your barbecue and enjoy.

You love to play tennis, walk to local shops or Restaurants? Both takes you only a 5 minutes short stroll as well. VRC20-000305

Golf Players can enjoy the Key Royale Golf Clup within 3 minutes by car while the rest of the party walk to the beach or to the local shops or enjoy the peacefull atmosphere only a canalfront home can offer.

Hop a ride on the free and air-conditioned Island Trolley just arround the next corner. It runs from 6am to 10pm in a leisure loop through Anna Maria City, Holmes and Bradenton Beaches to take you anywhere around the area. Because it is so close to the vacation home you can use it as your “own private shuttle”.

The two guest bedrooms are ensuite with their bathroom while the master bedroom area has a private entrance, vaulted ceiling and a bathroom that features a glass-enclosed shower, Jacuzzi spa tub, and even a bidet. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the other two bedrooms have twin beds, which can be put next to each other.

The living area and one of the bedrooms have sliding glass doors to the pool deck and nice views of the canal.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, a glass ceramic stove, an oven, a side by side, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee-machine.

In the garage you will find a new washer (Frontloader) and a dryer for your convenience.

Free high speed internet access included. 3 LED TVs for your entainment.

Electric pool heater can be turned on upon request at an additional charge ($190 for the first week and $20 for each additional night plus tax) and shall be ordered at least one week prior to arrival.

The home sleeps 6 guests (maximum occupancy per Holmes Beach ordinance). Base rate is good for up to 4 guests. Please enter your dates and number of guests for a detailed quote.

During high season January until March we can only accept bookings for full months, meaning from the first to the last, no mid month arrivals please.

Outstanding location, right on channel with boat deck and also close to beaches, restaurants and shops on beautiful Anna-Maria Island. Property itself is very nice & practical and is in excellent condition, floors and bedroom furniture look and feel renewed. Same for beautiful pool. Can only recommend, will be back!

My family and I stayed at the blue house for 2 months. It was wonderful. The easy walk to the beach, the great food, fishing in the backyard after swimming in the pool. We can’t wait to return.

We had a great time on Anna Maria. The location is perfect and close to all, beach, shopping , free Shuttle bus, tennis courts…. Well the home is from the sixties with its old Florida Charme. We found everything as shown on the pictures and we loved to relax in the backyard by the huge pool. It was very clean and we felt at home (all ceiling fans were working). Heidi the manager was perfect. We had some bulbs to exchange, it happened within a day. For our need the mattresses were comfortable and all mattresses were covered with a clean topper. We loved to use the beach toys in the garage especially the beach cart and cooler. For us the perfect place by a very good rental price comparing with other homes on this island.

While we enjoyed our stay in this property it got off to a somewhat rocky start and our concerns really did not get fully addressed until the latter stages of our time. In no particular order our frustrations stemmed from the following; 1) It was extremely difficult to communicate with Suncoast Realty and their agents. No phone ‘s, no responses or late/ slow responses overall. Total web-based response system. No local office or staff; 2) Suggest owners provide a manual on how to operate TV. Did have a rep from Suncoast come to the house and go through how to operate the TV, but something in writing in the house would have been a great help; 3) The showers were very dirty/ moldy and we did our best to clean them. They need bleaching at the very least, and preferably complete re-grouting. There were dust bunnies on the ceiling by the ceiling vent in the dining area generated by the AC coming on. This was mentioned in a 2019 renter review, but apparently never addressed. We did change the furnace air filter and clean the ceiling; 4) Ceiling fans were pretty much inoperable. 3 new fans were installed later in our stay! 5) The pool light was burnt out and subsequently the entire light was replaced; 6) The window and door blinds are old and broken and need replacing; 7) One of the sliding glass doors did not work at all when we got there. It was then serviced and was considerably better after that; 8) The lawn service was marginal at best. They were only there twice as far as we know and they did not mow around or under anything in the yard. The pool area had many weeds growing up inside the lanai. When we first saw the yard guys he said they would be doing it the next week. They didn’t show up and we subsequently pulled them all ourselves; On the plus side the location and overall layout of the house were very nice. The beach supplies and bicycles also very nice. After nagging Suncoast enough we started getting responses and some satisfaction on our requests and concerns. The local service people that came out were very efficient and were able to fix most if not all the items we have mentioned. It should be noted that several items on our list were the same that were mentioned in a review back in 2019! All in all, the house needs a deep clean. Suncoast’s response was generally “we will notify the cleaning people and make sure things are better after you leave and the next renters arrive”. Really? Weren’t we paying for this already?
