Villa Flaminia Luxury Resort is an elegant oasis of peace, nestled in the heart of the Sardinian countryside among the rolling hills of Scala Mala, just a few minutes from the pristine beaches and the historic charm of Alghero. This exclusive villa offers a unique experience, perfect for those seeking relaxation, privacy and comfort in a luxurious setting.
Villa Flaminia is composed of two floors connected by an internal staircase, on the upper floor there is the living room with the open-space kitchen and the large covered veranda furnished with table and chairs overlooking the lush garden.
On the ground floor there are the 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower (one en-suite), the second large living room with library and large window onto the covered veranda of the garden.
All rooms are equipped with integrated air conditioning.
All rooms are designed to ensure maximum comfort and privacy. The large suites, furnished with high-quality materials and design details, offer direct access to the garden through the large window of the living room on the ground floor of the villa. Each bedroom has a double bed, one of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom and direct access to the outdoor spaces, creating a perfect balance between elegance and nature. The other two suites share a large bathroom with shower.
Outdoor spaces and modern comforts
The outdoor spaces of Villa Flaminia are a true paradise for those who love living outdoors. The large panoramic terrace, furnished with comfortable sofas and a shaded dining area, is the ideal place to enjoy dinners under the stars or moments of relaxation at sunset, overlooking the surrounding nature. The garden, cared for in every detail, is inspired by the local flora, integrating typical plants of the Mediterranean scrub in a harmonious and regenerating environment.
Pool and relaxation area
The infinity pool (4m x 8m long - 1.5m deep), with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills is surrounded by a large solarium equipped with sun loungers and shaded relaxation areas, perfect for enjoying a sunny day in total privacy. To complete the experience, a barbecue area and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven with everything you need to organize outdoor lunches and dinners. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water is located close to the olive trees, ensuring total privacy.
Main House and Guest House
In the Main House, the first floor opens onto a large living room with large windows that flood the interior with natural light. The modern and fully equipped kitchen connects directly to the outdoor dining area, making it easy to organize meals in company. On the ground floor, the private suites offer intimate spaces, each with access to the second living room and the garden through large windows that act as a trait d'union with the surrounding landscape.
The SPA with GYM
The SPA with independent gym, HYDROMASSAGE TUB and SAUNA is located near the pool close to the villa, so as to offer an ideal solution for guests who want to spend moments of relaxation and body care. The Gym has a treadmill, hydromassage tub, sauna, en-suite bathroom, as well as a private terrace overlooking the garden. The Sauna is for 3 people, the Jacuzzi is for 2 people.

Entering the villa you realize that the photos do not do justice - you just have to be there. We have been in many luxury villas all over Europe, but this has won them all.
All aspects were almost perfect: the design of the villa, the quality of the villa, its location and its equipment.
The location meant we were away from the noise of a resort and other villas but within driving distance of supermarkets, tavernas and beaches.
Inside the villa it felt like being home from home.
For when things do not go to plan the owner Paolo shows up during our stay.
I have not lost Wi-Fi - please consider this a bonus.
The pool was the highlight. I spent many days sitting by the pool reading a book.
Other great things about the villa - excellent barbecue.
We will return.

What an amazing place for vacation! great pool and very big and beautiful villa! Polo is a fabulous host, taking care of everything you need right away! Close to alghero and all places in the area! Super recommended!

Our group of 6 adults and 2 kids stayed here for 10 days and had a fantastic time. The main villa has 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with large lounge and kitchen/utility which was all very well presented with everything you need. The separate bungalow has another large bedroom with ensuite which is ideal for anyone that wants a bit of peace and quiet at night. The main attraction though is the garden where we spent most of our time. The pool is large and kept very clean, the BBQ area is great with large grill and sink / food prep area. The gardens are truly beautiful set on a plot of several acres with immaculate lawned formal garden leading to more rustic olive groves and lemon trees, all securely fenced off with electric gates. Our young kids loved running around playing hide and seek and we felt safe that they were contained even if they were out of sight. The views of the surrounding farms and rugged hills were equally stunning and we never got tired of watching the sun go down. Alghero itself is a 10 min drive and has great restaurants and interesting culture and history with some stunning beaches nearby. Mugoni beach was our highlight - a 30 min drive in a large secluded bay with calm water, natural shade from tall pine trees and stunning views and best of all virtually empty so we had it to ourselves! The owner Lupino is also very friendly and helpful. The wifi is free but a bit slow and there were a lot of mosquitoes so take strong repellant but these were only minor annoyances on an otherwise wonderful holiday.

In short, this is a dream combination of house + surroundings. We basically never left the place because it was so wonderful to just spend time there, relax, watch the garden and lush hills and swim in the pool. We never had such a hard time parting from a place. The owner put so much love and detail in this gorgeous house. You never can get tired of the beautiful antique interior design. At the same time you have everything you need from a barbecue to the the most amazing espresso machine. (Now the whole family wants such a machine ;)). Paolo and Rosanna are lovely people and wonderful hosts and made us feel right home from the start. We would love to go back and spend another family reunion there. This place is magical!!!
