About this house rental
This house offers the best of island living - a boat dock out back and deeded private access to the white sandy beaches of Longboat Key, located just down the street. Situated on the North end of Longboat, you are minutes from Coquina Beach and historic Bridge St. and Anna Maria Island. Sarasota, Lido Beach and St. Armands Circle are a 15 minute drive south on picturesque Gulf of Mexico Drive. A well stocked convenient store, deli and 3 restaurants (Continental, Italian and Mexican) are a block away and favorites like Euphemia Hay, Lazy Lobster, Dry Dock, Bridge Tender and the Chart House are a short drive.
The home is recently updated with new flooring, remodeled bathroom, fresh paint and all new linens.
Both Bedrooms and two separate living areas all feature large screen TV's with cable service. There is dedicated office area with printer. The primary bedroom has a king bed and the guest room has a queen, with a sliding glass door to the patio overlooking the canal. The kitchen is well appointed and outfitted with everything you need to cook and bake. The spice cabinet is stocked. It features a gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, as well as other convenient appliances (toaster, instant hot water kettle, regular and immersion blender). It opens to a dining area featuring a large, antique handcrafted wooden table. The laundry area has a full sized washer and dryer.
The home has room to park 3 cars and a boat trailer. By boat, you are just a minutes from fun destinations like Beer Can Island and Longboat Pass sandbar...or you can dock for lunch at The Shore, Mar Vista, Anna Maria Oyster Bar or all the restaurants and Bars on Bridge St.
The owner will consider small dogs. The house is wheelchair accessible and has handles in key areas for assistance, if needed. Smoking is not permitted except on the lanai.

Perfect place for me and my family. I brought my boat down and fished almost every day. Even shared fish with the neighbors across the street. Great people on either side. Beds were comfy, grill worked great. Highly recommend.

A lovely home with great living space. An easy walk down quiet street to private beach. Nicely equipped kitchen with both indoor and outdoor eating spaces. Great local restaurants and shops. In particular, we enjoyed birding and kayaking at the nearby nature preserves.

Property is as described, but better. House is very quirky, with lots of different levels (and grab bars to make the up and down steps a lot easier). Beds are super comfortable, as is all the furniture in the house. Owner was extremely easy to work with. Neighborhood is fantastic. Beautiful park a block away, deli and convenience store down the street, and friendly, quiet neighbors. Highly recommend!

House was very clean and on a delightfully quiet street with lovely neighbors. Kitchen tools and supplies were plentiful, including spices, cleaning and laundry supplies, cleaning equipment. Screened in porch was great place to have a cup of tea and read. Communication with manager was great. He usually responded within hours. Bed was comfortable and home was nicely spread out. Nice surprise was the desk and printer which made telecommuting so much easier! Only word of caution is that the addition to the house (master bedroom, family room, and laundry area) is a step down. However, it would be possible for someone with mobility issues to live on one level and handrails were included by all places requiring a step.
