About this cabin rental
13 miles to Paoli peaks SKI resort
Situated inbetween Louisville Kentucky and French lick Indiana
The cabin is private overlooking a shared half acre pond
NO PET POLICY
Beside a 30 acre woods with road access on one side. The cabin has a gravel drive and one step up onto the porches. We can set up the ramp for wheelchair access.
The quarter-mile, woodswalk is a work in progress. Fishing in the pond is catch and eat or catch and release – no take-home.
The cabin has heating and air-conditioning, electric, a wood-burning fireplace, hot and cold water, a heated tile bathroom floor. Gas and charcoal grills bring your own charcoal.
There is a new patio with a fire ring if you want to do a hot dog roast.
Canoe + PFD along with paddles available.
Refrigerator, counter top oven, 2 burner hot plate and microwave coffee maker
“Major“ is our German Shepard who was born December 2020 moves around the property at will and loves swimming in the pond. He greets our guests and expects to make new friends. Though his time is spent mostly at our house - not at the cabin.
We have most all the pots and pans and utensils for cooking and preparing foods.

Darrel was so hospitable and was great with communication. We enjoyed the delicious cinnamon roles and banana nut bread. The cabin itself was clean, warm, and cozy. We spent a lot of time around the fire just enjoying the quiet time with each other.

This property was perfect for a quiet, relaxing weekend of hiking and sightseeing. We enjoyed sitting out on the back porch, overlooking the pond. It was very peaceful. We really appreciated the hosts' welcome gifts of homemade cinnamon rolls and bouquet of flowers. They were a lovely touch! The cozy country cabin is a wonderful place to unplug and recharge.
