Our recently renovated pigsty, is a small portion of a beautiful, traditional Umbrian country house in the Assisi valley which we are in the midst of restoring.

We stayed 3 nights, and enjoyed the rural quiet location. The suite was a great size for two, clean, easy parking and the drive into any of the hill towns and villages was easy. Gwen was a wonderful host she knew the neighborhood and locals villages with suggestions for side trips and places to eat. Would happily stay again.

We had a wonderful time. Gwen was a sensational hostess, helping with all aspects of our stay....where to go, where to park, what to see, where to eat etc....and booking restaurants for us.
It's a great location being so near Assisi and all the lovely towns in the valley. I would love to think that we might be able to go again some time.

Gwen was a tremendous host! She know everyone and is willing to help you see and experience Umbria authentically. The space was comfortable and easy to get to, but Gwen makes the experience!

Wonderfully peaceful and quiet detached studio sitting on 2 acres just minutes by car. Engaging and friendly hostess and willing to provide excellent recommendations to eat, and particular areas of Umbria to visit. Bonus light breakfast. Remodeled, clean, and private.
