Set within 100 acres of countryside, Willingcott is surrounded by numerous walking routes and cycle tracks. The Tarka Trail runs right past the site, while the South West Coast Path is within easy reach, so for those who wish to experience North Devon's beauty and scenery, it doesn't get better. Woolacombe Beach which has been awarded a World Class Surfing Reserve' status boasts 3 miles of golden beach and famous Atlantic swells so days can be spent sunbathing, swimming, rock pooling or surfing. Other wonderful beaches in the area include Barricane with its fantastic Sri Lankan food hut, Putsborough, Saunton Sands and Croyde.
