About this cabin rental
Get away and recuperate! Nestled in the trees high above the water, the Overlook Cabin offers a peaceful, comfortable, and intimate experience of the Ohio River, with a large riverfront window, 8x12ft deck, & jacuzzi bathtub. The 12x40ft space has a queen bed, two twins, and a couch, and would be great for families, hunters, or couples. Dogs/cats/pets welcome. Cabins stocked with complimentary locally-sourced coffee. Large outdoor area for kids to play, a picnic or campfire, gas grill available, climbing dome, and a path down to the river for hiking or fishing (Please note that people have varying experiences with the path to the river -- the path is a little rocky and can be muddy after a rain, but for those without mobility issues it's rarely an issue to reach the river when the weather is good). Lots of hiking/hunting in the area, about four miles from a boat launch (KH Butler), and 15-minutes from a cute little town. Free parking on site. Free wifi. Smart TV & DVD player available. Owners live onsite should any issues arise.

This was such a cute little spot. My husband and I were traveling with two teenagers and our 3 dogs. We love dog friendly accommodations, and this place was perfect. The hummingbird feeder on the deck were super active in the evening! The jacuzzi tub was a nice perk as well! It was just a short drive to go check out the Mothman museum. We only stayed one night, but wish we could’ve stayed longer! Very relaxing spot!

The view was beautiful and the cabin was clean and nice. My kids liked the bunk bed. I would definitely stay again if in the area. The host was really nice. I give the place a 10/10

We loved our four nights in the cozy cabin. The view of the Ohio River was wonderful. It was a quiet and relaxing stay. We definitely plan on returning.Thank you, Chris for a wonderful experience!
