About this cabin rental
Get away and recuperate! Nestled in the trees high above the water, the Overlook Cabin offers a peaceful, comfortable, and intimate experience of the Ohio River, with a large riverfront window, 8x12ft deck, & jacuzzi bathtub. The 12x40ft space has a queen bed, two twins, and a couch, and would be great for families, hunters, or couples. Dogs/cats/pets welcome. Cabins stocked with complimentary locally-sourced coffee. Large outdoor area for kids to play, a picnic or campfire, gas grill available, climbing dome, and a path down to the river for hiking or fishing (Please note that people have varying experiences with the path to the river -- the path is a little rocky and can be muddy after a rain, but for those without mobility issues it's rarely an issue to reach the river when the weather is good). Lots of hiking/hunting in the area, about four miles from a boat launch (KH Butler), and 15-minutes from a cute little town. Free parking on site. Free wifi. Smart TV & DVD player available. Owners live onsite should any issues arise.

The view was beautiful and the cabin was clean and nice. My kids liked the bunk bed. I would definitely stay again if in the area. The host was really nice. I give the place a 10/10

We loved our four nights in the cozy cabin. The view of the Ohio River was wonderful. It was a quiet and relaxing stay. We definitely plan on returning.Thank you, Chris for a wonderful experience!

Sadly they had ceased the breakfast delivery, but other than that this was a wonderful experience and a fantastic location convenient to Garopolis and Point Pleasant. The river is amazing to be next to. The small house has everything we needed and was confortable.
