I, my daughter in law, and two grandchildren stayed here for two nights when we attended the Mothman Festival. This house was an absolute gem! The most striking thing to me is how incredibly well supplied the house is. I can’t think of a single object we might have needed that wasn’t there, including snacks in the fridge. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfy, everything was spotless, and we LOVED seeing deer merely feet away from us in the morning and evenings. The place just exuded homeyness and serenity and is within short driving distances to some nice restaurants and shopping. We ate in Gallipolis at the Tuscany restaurant, which was very good with great service. If you’re looking for a reasonable and charming place to stay, look no further. One of my best experiences at a VRBO.

This was the perfect stopover location for us. Communication was excellent. Location was as described. House is charming and very comfortable. It was nice to get outside, eat a pizza on the back picnic table, and walk at the local college campus. If we are in the area again, we will be back.

We stayed in Rio Grande because it was a 20 minute drive to family. My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and son in law plus three grandchildren. There was plenty of room. They even had many baby items in the home. The only drawback was the number of stairs to get into the house. If you don’t have any mobility issues you will be all set. May stay here again for next years reunion.

All in all everything in the house was as needed for our trip. Lots of towels and linens for our stay and games for the kids. Location is great and Twinkleberries Coffee is right around the corner. A must stop for breakfast if you stay. Hosts were great and responsive.

Our stay here was amazing! The bed was super comfortable and the hosts were more than accommodating. This place was also fully stocked! They even had extra toothbrushes (brand new) that came in handy when my husband forgot his. The fridge was fully stocked as well. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and loved the location of this place!

Peaceful Getaway

We rented this neat house for a mini family vacation for eight adults and one medium dog. The property fit our needs perfectly and had enough room to accommodate all of us comfortably. This house has a mix of old and new with a lot of charm mixed in. Temperatures in late April allowed us to have a nice time around the outdoor fire pit. Our family had a great time sitting around the large dining room table enjoying g meals together and playing games. We’ll be booking again in the future for another get together with family.

We were pleasantly surprised with the beauty and charm of this home! Other than the charming historic details, the house was very clean, smelled so nice, stocked on everyday items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, coffee, spices, etc. We had all of the pots needed to cook a meal and they even had a baby bathtub that we were able to use for our infant. This host has thought of everything. We will be back for sure!
