There were no towels when we got there that night. Found some dirty towels in the basement. Put a load in the washer and the washer flooded the whole basement. The couch was broken in the middle very hard to get out of. Not comfortable to sit in. The beds had no top sheet on them . They were also very uncomfortable. Only half of the windows had curtains on them. The other half had curtains that were see through. Found an air b&b the very next morning and left this vrbo. Took 3 days of calling but finally got a full refund. I would not recommend.

Place was clean. One very small bathroom which would have been a bigger concern if more than 2 of us stayed. Beds were memory foam only mattress. They were not very soft. The price was very cheap so that was great. Location was meat water.

Summary: Good. But some things that can be improved: TV-set in living room didn't work? Furniture in living room worn and not clean. We had to clean the refrigerator before we could use it. And there was a leak from the washing machine in basement?

Thus property is not a lake view. The couch is broken. Shortly before arriving the owner texted and said the tv was broken and we could use the one upstairs. The a/c was broken as well. Me and my husband were on our anniversary trip. Why would we want to stay in a room to watch movies? We were fully refunded but was only offered 250 off of a new house that we had to fully pay for again and have to turn in a receipt to get that 250. Vrbo didn’t even offer to help us find a different house to stay in. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and had to cancel all of our reservations and drive home the next day. We will never use this company again.

Stay was ok. Property is in a poor area with no lake view. Cleanliness- microwave and refrigerator dirty and floor could have been swept. Main sitting area TV didn’t work. It was a black screen the whole stay.

First, the good news: the inside of the house was impeccably clean, the kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc.,the beds were comfortable. However. We almost didn’t go in because of the run down outside stairs and porch! The railing is broken and the stairs have little paint left. Despite the first impression, we went in and, except that there is still a dirty broken couch in the living room, everything looked decent. Since we were basically using it for a place to sleep and have breakfast, it served us well. It’s very near Bayfront Park but no direct views.

Very nice spacious house, it was perfect for us for a weekend family stay. Everything was very clean and in good working order. However would recommend a new microwave, it took a very long time to heat food, also need shower curtain liner. Good communication with owner and answered all questions. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

The house was cute on the inside.. the outside left a lot to be desired. The porch was slanted and all the doors looked like they had been broken into at one point or another. Upon arriving, my husband looked around and found the hot water tank was leaking. Called the owner who said a repairman would come, but never showed up. At least one window was broken, the couch board was broken down the middle and the center of the couch was touching the floor, one of the beds was broken and slanted to the left and the shower knob was also broken.

It was sitting on the floorThis was a great place for our wedding prep and to sleep. The host is great! We had a slight issue with the checkin but they were very fast to get it resolved. Our dog was right at home and was also comfortable. The only negative we experienced was the neighborhood. We had several people ask us for hand outs when we would leave in the morning. We were expecting a view of the lake but you have to walk down the street to see it but was not a great experience given the neighborhood with a 3 year old.

The house is cute on the inside- outside was a bit messy- high grass, garbage on two side of the house.Door frames for the locks need replaced. There were a lot of towels available. Bathroom was updated but the shower knob needed a screw to hold it on. Kitchen was beautiful and fully supplied with dishes, pots/pans/ and utensils. The furniture needed updated- the couch was broken and the kitchen chairs needed tightened (they were wobbly). Washer had stuff in it so we couldn’t use it. Good communication with property owner/manager. They responded quickly to messages.Overall, we had a good time because of who we were with.

The beds are terrible!! I felt like I was sleeping on bricks I had to end my 2day stay definitely wasn’t going to stay an extra night, only end up staying 1 night vs 2. The host was nice about it, cancelled my stay and refunded me.

House was overall nice. Could have been a little cleaner and listing could state there is street parking. There was not much details or photos of property. Otherwise there were definitely cooking utensils including pots pans plates and bowls. Perfect for last minute reservations.

My family and I enjoyed our weekend stay. The owner was very responsive to all communication and was very nice to let us do a late check out. The house was plenty big enough for 4 adults, a child and two small dogs. Its in a great location central to everything in Erie. The house was clean upon our arrival and remodled very nice. For the nightly weekend rate it was more than resonable. My only complant would be that the outside stairs were covered in ice when we arrived. I know ice has been bad this winter but they were very dangerous. We purchased some salt our first night. The kitchen was limited on a few things and we had no wash cloths or hand towles, only towels for the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and will consider it for future weekend trips.

Pros: Very clean Everything seemed brand new Nicely decorated Cons: -The house was in a rough section of Erie. -There was next to nothing in the house - no silverware, no extra blankets, no washcloths. -There were no curtains on some of the windows, and we could see directly into the house next door. -The curtains in one of the bedrooms were completely sheer, and the neighboring houses were about 10 feet away on two sides. -The beds were awful. Mattresses were maybe 6 inches thick, and felt like they were made out of foam (and NOT memory foam). You could feel the board or box spring or whatever the base was underneath. Felt like a mat on the floor. -The front steps were not exactly attached to the house. I had a friend with me who had mobility issues, and it was difficult getting her up and down the stairs safely. It seemed as though we may have been the first to stay at the house since it's renovation, but I absolutely cannot believe we spent what we did on this place. I wouldn't have complained too much for less than $100 a night, but we paid almost triple that with fees. We would have had a better night's stay crammed into one hotel room on the Bayfront.

The inside of the property was great, the outside, not so much. Historical charm, very well remodeled home on the inside. Parking was street parking, trash all over the front yard / front porch. If you choose this place, make sure you understand all the details first.

While the owner was responsive to concerns and that is why rated higher than otherwise, the listing mentioned lake views. This is not accurate. There is no lake view. The AC was out during our first night which was communicated and fans were left for us. For 5 guests for 2 nights we had 1 bath towel and several hand towels. The owner brought towels after 10pm, new with tags. I appreciate their efforts to make things right but when on vacation you don’t want to worry with things like that. Lingering items from previous tenants (?) were onsite. A pair of tennis shoes with socks, an empty drink bottle, underwear in a drawer.

Decent home but overpriced for what we received. Home is decorated nicely inside but has no closet space or yard space. I have stayed in much nicer places for a lot less money. I would recommend cutting the weekly rate in half. The host was very nice and answered any questions quickly.
