We had a great time in Saint Augustine. The house was in a good location for sightseeing, everything was very clean and very comfortable, and we appreciated the three bicycles to do some extra exploring.

House was clean. However It is a definite rental property, there are stains on the furniture and carpets, some of the items in the house are a bit worn and tired. It was one of the best stocked rentals I have ever stayed in. There was plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, laundry soap, dish washer soap. The one thing missing was dish soap for hand washing, not a big deal at all just mentioning it. We didn't spend a lot of time in the house, but I did see a cabinet full of games, which I thought was A nice feature. The one problem of note was the AC. on our check I received an email stating the ac could have problems if you put the temp below 68 and might incur a service call from the ac provider. I was very mindful of keeping the temp at the instructed temp. First night was perfectly fine. 2nd day, came home to shower and go out to dinner. I noticed the temp had crept up to 77. When we got home from dinner a little after 9 it was 81 degrees upstairs. Very uncomfortable, and it was very hot and humid outside . (It’s July in Florida) I contacted the owner, of course there was no one to service that time of night so we had to sleep in a very uncomfortable house that night. The only fans were the ceiling fans. It’s an older ac unit, needs maintenance. Wish there were fans in the house as this seems to be ongoing issue. We were told it was hot upstairs because we had the doors shut. didn’t appreciate the onus being placed on us for a unit that needed 3lbs of Freon added.
