It is located between the Louvre-Rivoli and Les Halles metro stations, in the heart of Paris, a 4-minute walk from the Louvre Museum, a 13-minute walk from the Center Georges Pompidou (Le Marais), and a 20-minute walk from the Louvre Museum. walk from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

The location is excellent just north of Louvre. Plenty of food and drinking options within site and walking distance. Transportation was excellent from this location too. The only downsides are the stairs, no clothes dryer and no coffee available so you need to get the right pods from a nearby store. For the rate I would think coffee should be included. The stairs are a major factor, especially for 60 year olds or older or anyone not in great shape. The stairs are narrow, steep and lengthy. It was not easy bringing up the luggage the first visit, and each day after all the Paris walking the stairs just about did us in. There is a laundry mat just steps away for drying if you need to use it.If you can handle the above then the place was great, had nice views and easily access dining, transportation and attractions. The TV had English channels which is nice. There is a cheese shop within steps and many wine stores too. Walking east or west on St. Honore brought several really good restaurants to you, and just a block south is Rue de Rivoli for great shopping.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Fabrice’s apartment. There was plenty of space for us and the neighborhood was friendly and quiet. Very close to a metro station, cafes, Notre Dame and the river. The 5 flights of stairs were a bit of a challenge though.

The flat was well appointed to eat in and fantastically situated to eat out and walk the city. True to the listing, it is a ~5 story walkup. We enjoyed it as that added to the Parisian charm. Loved it all, the real beams, exposed stone wall, windows, and decor. Fabrice was super as well.
Would stay again if available the next time we are in Paris.

A few flights up the stairs, a great apartment in the center of Paris. Everything was well stocked and we appreciate how quiet it was.
