About this house rental
Two beautifully renovated apartments in downtown Philadelphia (Passyunk Square neighborhood). Both apartments are located on the 2nd floor of a private duplex building. Units total 4 bedrooms ; 3.5 bathrooms ; comfortably sleeping 10 guests! Located on historic Broad St, the property is in a lovely location just 2 blocks from Passyunk Avenue (voted top 10 foodie st in America). This is the perfect rental for family getaways, small groups, close friends, and traveling business partners alike.
THE SPACE:
This rental consists of 2 separate apartments connected by a private stairwell and entry way in a private duplex building (no other apartments in the building!). Two kitchens which are fully equipped if you'd like to cook in ; wifi is strong across both units with plenty of room to spread out and relax or get work done. Detailed layout as follows:
Unit #1: 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom
2nd floor: Main Entry / Kitchen / Living Room / Dining Room / Full Bath #1 / NOTE: Spiral stairs to the upstairs level.
3rd floor: Bedroom #1 w/King Sized Bed + Sleeper Futon / Bedroom #2 w/Queen Sized Bed / Full Bathroom #2 Hall.
Unit #2: 2 Bedroom / 1.5 Bathroom
2nd floor: Main Entry / Kitchen / Living Room / Dining Room / 1/2 Bath / Full Sized Sleeper Futon. NOTE: Spiral stairs to the upstairs level.

These apartments were so beautiful, tastefully decorated, super clean, and in a great location. The owner was available on call, left curated local treats (a lovely surprise!), and was very friendly. The location was close to downtown, but not walkable to downtown, which was fine with us. Passyunk Ave was 1 block away and very, very funky/cute. Overall, this is a 5 star property. The set-up, however, is two 2 bedroom apartments, separated by a hallway (that is private) with locks. It was listed as a 4 bedroom apartment with an in-law suite which is inaccurate. We have small children and were hoping to treat them to their own rooms for this trip. However, their rooms were a very good distance from the adults, in another apartment, so the adults had to split up each night to sleep with the kids. It also listed 1 parking spot which was a huge draw for us since we know how difficult parking is in the city. There are no actual private spots, it's on-street parking so you have to move the car every 2-3 hours if you can find a space. This was hugely inconvenient, but I was told that you can buy a permit from the city prior. I would have done that, but again, the listing said there was a 1 parking spot available. Lastly, if you are handicapped or have trouble with stairs, this is absolutely not the apartment for you. The stairs pictured are the stairs for both apartments- circular, open, artsy. These were no problem for us, but I imagine they would be for some others.

We booked both units and had plenty of room for everyone-great Philly vibe.easy walk or uber to all the locations we needed to get to-yummy food options nearby! Host was very responsive to our messages-highly recommend!
