About this house rental
Surrounded by stunning mountains and three beautiful rivers this lovely home is private, peaceful and relaxing with a large fully fenced outdoor area and tranquil veranda looking out across the reserve.
Situated in old established Albert Town with more space and peace, away from the hustle and bustle of Wanaka but only a 5 - 10 minute drive.
Walking and mountain-biking tracks are literally out the front and back doors! Great fishing, swimming and boating, this is a special place.
It’s a five minute walk to the Albert Town store, famous Pembroke Patisserie, restaurant and bar and a five minute drive to Wanaka township. Ski fields are 45 minutes drive, Lake Wanaka 5 - 10 minutes drive and Lake Hawea 15 minutes drive.
Comfortable beds and sofas, a great woodburner plus heatpump/air con make this a great house for both winter and summer.
Fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives and a dishwasher. Two fridge/freezers, laundry with washer and dryer plus both an iron and steamer.
Gas hot water, great showers and a full sized bath.
Very comfortable and clean with contemporary furniture and quality bedding with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and toilets, a large private back yard with plenty of relaxing outdoor furniture, BBQ, apple and peach trees.
Linen provided.

The host very kindly allowed us to bring our Two wee dogs. The house and property were great, everything you could need was supplied. Highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful, family-friendly property near the Clutha River. The house had a great layout and a large fenced yard, perfect for pets and children. The garden was beautiful, and the log burner made evenings warm and cozy.The location was ideal, close to both Wānaka but still quiet and rural. Being right by the river was a highlight; we took the dinghy out several times and loved exploring. There’s a huge walking trail and dog park just outside the door. It’s also really close to some great rock climbing areas, which was a bonus!The kitchen was well equipped, the gas hot water endless, and the home had everything we needed for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway. We’d definitely stay again!
