This spacious five-bedroom, three-bathroom retreat features extended beachside decks, private beach access, and stunning ocean views. With its prime location near the beginning of the premier surf break at "The Washout," this home is ideal for families and beach lovers seeking a week of relaxation and adventure.
Features:
Living Area: The reverse floor plan places the open-concept living room and fully updated kitchen on the top floor, offering breathtaking ocean views. Large windows and glass doors provide abundant natural light, making this a perfect space to unwind and enjoy the scenery. The kitchen features a spacious island with additional seating and a dining table that accommodates seven. A small round table off the kitchen is perfect for morning coffee and planning your day.
Kitchen: Fully equipped and updated kitchen with modern appliances and ample counter space, ideal for preparing meals and gathering with friends and family.
Bedrooms:
Room #1: Bunk bed with a twin on top and full on the bottom.
Room #2: Bunk bed with a twin on top and full on the bottom.
Room #3: King bed.
Room #4: Oceanfront king bed.
Room #5: Oceanfront king bed.
Bathrooms: Three full bathrooms are conveniently located to serve all guests.
Outdoor Space:
Beachside Decks: Enjoy extended decks that offer ample space for lounging, dining, and soaking in the ocean breeze. Perfect for cookouts and gatherings.
Ground-Level Hangout Spot: A shaded area underneath the house is ideal for enjoying lunch after a beach session or hosting a lowcountry boil dinner at sunset.
Private Beach Access: Direct access to the beach with an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand.

We had an excellent stay at “Our Sanctuary” and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Folly Beach. The beachfront location is unbeatable with kids. We absolutely loved being able to step right onto the sand and walk into town along the beach. It offered the perfect mix of convenience and a relaxing beach getaway.The house was spacious, comfortable, and well suited for our family, with plenty of room to gather together or spread out and relax. The host was also fantastic, providing prompt, friendly communication from booking through checkout.If you're looking for a beachfront property with lots of space, easy access to town, and a responsive host, this is a great choice. We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful property, clean presentation and nicely furnished, all you could want from the double deck beach view - 40 steps to planting your umbrella and chairs. Ideal upstairs entertainment area/kitchen separate from bedrooms on second level and handy elevator for luggage.Couple of suggestions - no cable access so only 3 local stations, not that we spent much time indoors...golf cart was charging but 'not operational', woulda been handy.Notified a day prior that master shower had newly cracked floor and we needed to work around, hardly ideal, but have to say George at Dunes Properties did his best to work with us and make it right. Couple other issues but stuff happens - gorgeous property and would stay again if we proactively cleared up a few things.

It just wasn’t clean. Dishwasher about to fall out of place. Dirty dishes put up porch not safe up top.
