• Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temps drop into the 40s.

About the Area: Nestled at the San Juan Gateway, Ouray, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year. In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing.
During the winter season bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, Downhill or Nordic skis and enjoy a wide variety of winter activities. Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Enjoy a 60-minute scenic drive to Telluride Ski Resort for a full day of the top five runs in America according to Conde Nast. The town of Ouray has a wide variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, unique shops and Ouray Hot Springs.
A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

I’ve stayed at another property in this building 2 years ago which is why I chose it again. Property is well kept if a bit dated. The one glaring flaw is that no outdoor table or chairs is provided on the back deck where we like to spend time when not out and about. In addition, the folding chairs provided are very uncomfortable.

Had everything we needed and great proximity to town. Only thing I would critique is investing in a comfier and bigger bed for the master.

I stayed here with my daughter and her boyfriend. It is a fair walk into town, on a dirt road outside of it. No views from the condo itself. While we booked this so we could prepare some of our own meals, the grill would not light and the microwave was glitchy. They did attempt to fix the grill but it still wouldn’t light. The TV did not work in the living room. I had expected more for the 1800 charged for 4 nights. Would not stay here again.
