Relax on the deck and enjoy a summer BBQ with friends and family, swimming, kayaking, walking and sightseeing, or light the fire and snuggle up in winter. Our house is so close to the sea you can hear the waves from your bedroom. Beautiful beach safe for swimming, kayaking, walking and fishing. With many other attractions nearby you won’t runout of things to do! Just a few mins up the road you can enjoy, horse trekking, free range eggs and organic vegetables. An idyllic place to rest, relax and unwind.

Bedroom 1 King has an ensuite with wardrobe, toilet and shower. This bedroom also has doors opening on to sea facing deck. Sleep with the doors open in summer and dream to the sound of the waves.
Bedroom 2 Queen is large with additional bunk beds and is located at the eastern end of the house also with doors that open onto deck.
Bedroom 3 Twin, x2 single beds and ocean views.
Two kayaks included for guest use.
Fully self contained home. Section is child friendly and fully fenced, so you can relax and enjoy.
Convenient location 10mins to Takaka township and 7mins to Takaka airport. 1.5 hours from Nelson

Absolutely stunning place to stay! Gorgeous ocean views from each bedroom, back covered porch for a rainy day (we had sun the entire time!). The hosts were readily available for any questions. Place was immaculate, kayaks available, easy check in/out. Kitchen well equipped and pictures accurately show the property. Close to Tākaka, Farewell Spit, Pupu Springs, and so much more!

Comfortable accommodations for our multi-generational family of six. The fireplace and space heaters kept us warm on the fall nights. The ocean views were beautiful. The beach was close. Everything was set up nice for our arrival, including paper and kindling in the fireplace.

What an outstanding experience in every way. If anything the listing undersells the special aspects of this house and location. The beach isn’t private, but it might as well be. Great views from all parts of the house, very high end finish out and charmingly decorated. We especially appreciated not having to bring bed linens as so many other locations required. Bring food, beach towels and toiletries and every other need is covered on site, including two kayaks and two really nice full bathrooms with heated towel racks. Great for all seasons with charming outside spaces and cozy indoor rooms and a wood burning stove for colder nights. We’ll be back again on a future visit.

Dont mind spiders but dang this place was way too much. It was gross. Outdoor seating is full of black mold so couldnt use.
