Spacious, bright, and just 400m from the beach, Paradise in Pohara is a four bedroom, two bathroom home drenched in sunlight and full of all the comforts you want while on holiday.
With a huge single level footprint, this Pohara Beach holiday home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. The four bedrooms are configured perfectly for both family and friend getaways, with the master featuring a king size bed, and the remaining rooms able to sleep couples, singles, and children. The two generous sized bathrooms are stylish and spotless, with plenty of storage and vanity space.
The indoor living spaces at Paradise in Pohara feature ample seating for your whole group, and the heat pump ensures you’re kept cool in summer and toasty warm in winter while you put your feet up with a good book, play one of the four available board games or zone out watching a DVD. The kitchen features a breakfast bar with seating for four, and all the modern conveniences you need for a stress-free self-catered holiday - including a dishwasher. There’s even a washing machine on-site for a little added convenience.
Outdoors is where we reckon you’ll spend a large chunk of your time, especially with two different patios to ensure you can soak up some vitamin D all day long! A small coffee nook sits just off the kitchen and dining room, while a grand patio with a shade sail awaits on the other side of the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors in the lounge. You’ll absolutely love firing up the BBQ and dining alfresco out here, with views over the immaculately kept lawn and gardens and the fresh sea breeze flowing in.
Small boat owners are welcome to park their vessel on the private driveway, and there will still be ample off-street parking available for your vehicles. And, as an extra little bonus on the outside of the house, there’s a foot washing station to get all that sand off after the beach!
When you’re just five minutes from a beautiful golden sand beach perfect for a whole range of water activities, it’s hard to believe you’ll venture much further afield, but let us assure you there are loads of things to see and do nearby! 10 minutes drive to the east will find you at Tata Beach and Ligar Bay, in 15 minutes you’ll find yourself in Takaka for cafes, restaurants, and shops, and a real treasure can be found just 25 minutes away; the stunning Te Waikoropupu Springs.
Lonely Planet might have labeled it “pint-sized Pohara”, but there are big things waiting for you here - not least the magnificent holiday home that is Paradise in Pohara!

Great house, very new and clean. Could do with some large bowls, serving dishes and pots to make cooking for.a large family easier, though.

The location, cycle path back to Takaka and nearness of Wainui, Tata, the rocks at Clifden, and the play area at the holiday park across the road are big attractions. Some cheap boogie boards being available would have been appreciated. I think for four bedrooms two queen size beds would help and the need for a dryer given the wet days we struck this year and WiFi.
