This VRBO was absolutely ideal! Great location walkable to everything (and super close to the ski lift if there’d been any snow), and the space was immaculate. It was also really well-stocked (we made dinner in one night and had all the pans and utensils we needed). We absolutely loved our weekend at this place in Aspen! Will absolutely stay here again when we go back.

We were a bit unsure when we arrived at the property as the exterior of the property is a little dated, but ah ha, the unit itself is really gorgeous, pristine, exceptionally clean and oh so comfortable. All the comforts of home. Although there is a street above it, the area and the unit are really quiet. As advertised, it is just a block from the Shadow Mountain lift.. now, there's no ticket office there, so you need to take care of tix ahead of time. but otherwise, you just walk over a block... a neighborhood lift! Having covered underground parking was a huge bonus, particularly because it snowed while we were there. A caveat, Monarch Street is a tad steep so if you have any mobility issues, or don't come prepared with boots/yaktraks in winter, beware. And there are stairs up to the unit. Downtown is just a few blocks, and the St Regis is right next door, lovely place to hang out. EVERYTHING in Aspen is expensive, we found this unit to be the best value/nicest property for a winter vacation.
