About this house rental
Classic & Spacious! This remodeled split level victorian home in Carmel's highly desired Golden Rectangle spans 1700 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms nicely separated for privacy, each on its own floor in a well-designed space. You'll appreciate the high ceilings and wonderful light in the large "Country French" kitchen where French doors lead to a relaxing garden patio with lovely fountain.
An elegant new Carmel stone fireplace anchors the living room with matching swivel/glider armchairs and an 8 foot long sofa facing a flex mounted Smart TV.
Seating/Dining options: The oval dining table seats 6 to 10 (2 leaves for expansion). Another round table in the front LR window gives guests a separate space for coffee, card games and puzzles. And in the sun-dappled leaded glass kitchen, a large 6.5 foot vintage pine table offers plenty of room to cook, converse and prepare meals. Outdoor dining area includes comfortable seating, a propane firepit and a Weber gas grill with prep table.
This home is equipped for long stays with beach chairs, towels, a picnic basket, picnic backpack, umbrellas and flashlights.
Leave the car & Walk Safely Everywhere!! It is an EASY (flat) 2 block walk to the beginning of dozens of fun restaurants, unique shops, the library, post office, and many classic Carmel Village art galleries.
Parking: There is room for two cars to park in a tandem fashion in our private driveway. There's also free parking across the street along the Sunset Center between Eighth & Tenth Avenues (although you'll want to park early because this fills up during performances).
Heat & Climate Comfort: The 5 station radiant floor heating system will warm your toes on cold mornings. There are several large fans should we experience a rare heat wave. And a classy new, marble encased steam shower in the downstairs bathroom #1. Upstairs, you'll find Bathroom #2, in a victorian style with a vintage claw foot tub & overhead shower, stained and leaded glass, and a new marble topped vanity.
For drinking water-- there is a Pure water filter faucet in the kitchen along with a second refrigerator (downstairs) for drinks and overflow. Our gas stove and oven are VIKING. We keep the home well-stocked with spices and good premium cooking utensils.
Bedding: Downstairs master has a new King bed and mattress. Upstairs has a Tempurpedic Queen, and the main floor office has a new Full/Double mattress, each adorned with high quality linens.
For music, there is a wireless Bluetooth BOSE mini-portable speaker. Each bedroom has a dedicated desk. And our work-away supplies include a wireless Epson printer, ink refill cartridges & paper.
Television: There are 3 new flat screen TV's in the home, each set up with many dozens of choices including YouTubeTV, Netflix, Prime Video, DisneyPlus, and others.
As our beautiful little Village of Carmel-By-The-Sea enforces a NO SHORT TERM RENTAL policy, we encourage you to inquire about our discounted monthly rates.
Shorter stays are possible, but we can only rent to one tenant per month so please inquire further.

Lovely, bright, well equipped home in a fantastic location. Suzanne was so easy to work with and our stay in CBTS was just flawless. We'll be returning next year!

This home could not have been more perfect for a visit to Carmel. It was a easy walk to downtown shopping, restaurants and to the beach. The home itself was clean, well stocked with plenty of room inside and out. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving visit there.

Suzanne was great lady n very accommodating. The house was very clean an is a perfect fit for a trip to Carmel. You will not regret a stay here.
