I went to Hamburg for business and decided to combine it with vacation by bringing my family. We wanted a cozy place with all amenities in an affordable price which we found here! Herr Gerhard was amazing even before we came with his immediate and lively response, where he solved every single question we had, he offered to pick us up from the airport and even arranged to bring a high end child seat for our son as he is 3 years old. I wasn't just surprised but astonised by his willingness to help, his hospitality and interest! Once we arrived at his home we were welcomed by his lovely and hospitable wife andfound everything in perfect condition, a warm place and all amenities that you would have at your regular home. She guided us through the house and solved all our questions. He had a warm welcome note on the table alomg with sparkling wine and chocolates something which impressed us a lot as a gesture and he took us to the super market to pick our first groceries. When we wanted to go to the city of Hamburg he printed us the whole schedule of buses and s bahn needed along with maps. The distance of the house from the City Center is about an hour by one bus and one S-Bahn. The bus stop is placed around 200m from the house and during Sundays around 500m. If you go to Harburg is also a nice alternative as it is full of restaurants and shopping centers. Within walking proximity there are 3 different fast food restaurants in the area. I wish I could attach photos to show how beautiful it was, from the area and house to the sightseeing we had. We will definitely come back next time!!!
