Looking for the perfect family getaway? Sunset Peninsula is your place! Incredible destination for friends and family looking for both relaxation and adventure. This 4 bedroom / 2 bath retreat sleeps 13. Only 35 minutes from Auburn/Opelika. Great for school breaks, summer vacations, Auburn events (football, graduation, rush, etc.).
The spacious indoor and outdoor space allows for a peaceful getaway. Watch the sunrise and sunset and view the amazing wild life that Lake Martin has to offer - ducks, turtles, fish, geese, and even bald eagles. Local roads are paved and great for running/walking. Nature at it's finest draws in both adults and children.

- The seawall at the lake has some lose capstone. Be careful
- No parking area is strictly prohibited for vehicles due to septic tank underground pipes

This view at this property is amazing. We have stayed twice and was already planning a 3rd stay before we left. It is extremely comfortable for everyone. - comfy beds, lots of play space for kids inside and out, well stocked kitchen, plenty of outdoor accessories for the lake.

Sunset Peninsula is fantastic! The view, the rooms and beds, the water, the host, the cleanliness…too much to name that conveys all that made our family vacation outstanding!

This was our second year staying at Sunset Peninsula and it didn’t disappoint. The location, the views and the outdoor extras are always phenomenal. The big living area with large TV w surround sound made the one rainy afternoon movie day memorable for the grands. We look forward to booking again.
