🌷 Das Tulip, the perfect place to stay in Helen Georgia, is smack in the center of all the fun Alpine Helen has to offer! Our ground floor, single story condo is very accessible and boasts a sprawling designed floor plan with two king size bed suites; each with their own connected, private full bathrooms. Open and spacious living room and dining area are great to share with friends with plenty of seating (lounging). The kitchen is roomy enough for more than one chef and is fully equipped just like home, so your culinary spirit can come on vacation with you too! All you could need fresh groceries are literally across the street so no need to pile in the car. 🌷 Das Tulip in Helen is all about the location and it’s superb access to the best of Helen, just outside its doors. 🌅 Start your mornings off by crossing the street to Hofer’s Bakery & Cafe for an early, fresh baked treat. The famous Betty’s Country store is also next door for fresh, grind your own selection coffees and cookies the size of your face! Stroll down the main strip just a block to peruse all the wonderful unique shops and the marketplace. Pick up some tasty treats from the chocolate shops like Hansel & Gretel’s. All of Helen has joined in the Bavarian fun with beautiful themed architecture, murals, and landscapes.🏰

🎈 Start off summer in Helen with the annual hot air balloon race to the Atlantic. Helen is the starting launch site each year at the end of May.💧The last week of May also marks the opening of Helen’s water slide and lazy river amusement park so bring your suit and float your cares away while the adventurous few ride the mountain flumes Down to the pools. Park is open until September so don’t miss this cool treat.

💦 Tube the Chattahoochee! Take in the town from the coolest place around since the Chattahoochee River curls right through the city. Hop on the gentle waters and cascade your day in the clean and clear waters. The wide and shallow river formations through town, make a pleasant tour to both the young and old at heart. Don’t miss this summertime must do!

🍁 Long fall seasons are exciting in Helen as the mountains take on color and daily activities linger from the cool breezes across the valley. Fall is a great time to take a hike and discover Unicoi state park. 🍂 Take back the outdoors for a day on the shaded trails through the forest and lakeside or visit beautiful Anna Ruby Falls just minutes from the condo.

🍺 Oktoberfest in September? Yep, you read that right. Helen is renowned for its festive celebration of Oktoberfest each year spanning three weeks in September. Book early and often as this event is a must do again and again! Colorful decorations and costume-clad dancers serve Bavaria’s best brews for a celebration of tastes and sounds sure to delight! 🍻 The Oktoberfest grand hall is stumbling distance from the condo’s door...

🎄 A Bavarian holiday lies closest to our hearts as the town’s twinkle lights sprinkle the seasons magic across Helen. Just as Germany’s coveted Christmas village is the holy grail of the holiday spirit, you can’t get much closer than Helen Georgia for the winter charm in the mountains. A light snow brings a special hush to the streets and reminds us of Dr. Seuss’ Who-ville. 🎅🏻 Be sure to stop in the Helen Christmas Shoppe, also just out the back door from 🌷 Das Tulip, our condo.

👶🏻 Babyland General Hospital is just five miles from 🌷 Das Tulip and is the delivery center com the world famous Cabbage Patch Kids! Enjoy the young at heart nostalgia of this fun land tour of the facility and introduce your childhood memories to a new generation.

🍷 Wine tours! How could I skip this? The ideal climate of North Georgia’s mountain slopes has an amazing effect on the tender grapes and muscadine fruits as they drape across the small craft vineyards surrounding Helen. Book a “booze cruise” for a comfortable guided tour to taste nature’s nectar. Each season produces unique flavors to be squashed into barrels and bottled to take home with you. 🍾

🎢 The alpine coaster is under construction just down the street and will be a great new attraction once it is open. Zip through the trees down the mountainside along the steel track as you control the speed of your own sled around twists and turns! We price our property to be most affordable this way for all party sizes, big and small while accounting for additional wear, amenity usage, linens, and cleaning required.
