Alpine Escape

The location is prime for the area. Just far away from the main street so you do not hear too much vehicle traffic ( unless your neighbors have a motorcycle and they like to rev it up at all hours lol) or foot traffic. Beds are firm but comfy, space was great. Dont forget some trash bags or you will need to hit up Bettys. They provide 2 for kitcgen so if you have more than a weekend stay like us you will need more. Kitchen appliances and supplies are stocked so no need in worrying about bringing anything. There is a grill on the patio if you need one. Washer and dryer is convenient to the third story bedrooms at the top of the stairs. One bedroom on the first floor no bathroom. Second floor is living room, kitchen and patio with a half bath. Third floor has two large bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. Wonderful host that stayed connected upon check in. We will definitely try to stay here on our next visit. Great places to eat right around the parking lot. Don't forget to check out Betty's, there is more than you think in there. Bangkok, Yonah coffee, Dog gone coffe, Alpine pizza garden, La cabana Mexican restaurant and Hofers and The mason jar Gelato and coffee shop, was worth a repeat. There are some great little shops so make sure you adventure off the main stretch to the back streets.

Honestly I can't think of anything to even mention. If you have a long stay bring laundry detergent to wash towels or bring your own. More than a weekend. We stayed 5 nights had plenty with 4 adults. The downstairs bedroom had towels.

The location was perfect. Close to everything, all in town walking distance.

All the stairs…lol. But we are all older and just don’t like doing them if we can help it.

Neat, spacious, comfortable, with everything you need to spend wonderful days with family/friends! In the middle of Helen, with lots of fun activities around.
