About this apartment rental
Located just a stone’s throw from the city centre, near the magnificent Place Graslin and not far from the Cours Cambronne. Come and stay in this cosy Nantes ‘Cocoon’, situated on the first floor of a historic block of flats. It enjoys a quiet location as the entire flat overlooks an inner courtyard. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find plenty of shops, boutiques and delicious restaurants.
A redevelopment project is currently underway on the street in front of the flat, notably involving the installation of new tram lines. Work is also taking place in the building’s courtyard. This work may cause some noise disturbance during the day.
The layout is as follows:
- an entrance hall leading to a fully fitted kitchen (oven, fridge, induction hob, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washing machine)
- a shower room
- a living room furnished with a high-quality sofa, a dining table, a television and an internet connection
- a comfortable bedroom with a fitted wardrobe and a desk (160×200)
- a separate toilet
Cocoonr Agency
The “La Baronne” flat is managed by the Cocoonr agency in Nantes and will be prepared for your arrival. You will be welcomed on site by a member of our team who will show you round the flat, explain how everything works and hand over the keys.
High-quality bed linen, towels, rugs and tea towels are provided, and the bed will be made up on your arrival. To get your stay off to a good start, we provide a few Nespresso coffee capsules and some tea bags, herbal tea and sugar.
We also provide a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board.
Neighbourhood and transport
When staying in this charming flat, you’ll enjoy a prime location: a nearby pedestrianised area for your enjoyment. You can stroll around and explore the many shops on Rue Crébillon or admire the majestic Opera House on Place Graslin. You can also choose to visit the Natural History Museum or explore the Cours Cambronne, both of which are just 5 minutes away. For walkers, the journey to the Château des Ducs de Bretagne takes no more than fifteen minutes.
Ideally situated, you can make the most of Nantes city centre. However, if you prefer public transport, the ‘Médiathèque’ tram stop is about 2 minutes away.
You can also opt for the self-service bikes known as ‘Bicloos’!
For the airport, a shuttle bus is available from “Commerce” (5 minutes from the flat). You’ll be at the airport in 20 minutes.
There are plenty of food shops nearby, as well as excellent restaurants and bars in a highly sought-after neighbourhood!
For your stay in Nantes, the La Baronne flat is an excellent choice.

La Baronne "Nantes has it all, art scene, social scene and a fantastic night life!
🙂 Excellent service from the staff, lovely and clean.
🙁 Great location… it was easy to explore Nantes and discover all the beautiful hidden gems the city has to offer on foot. As someone who enjoys walking it was an excellent location to go back after long strolls in and around the city."

La Baronne "loved the city. overall good stay. apartment was a bit dirty and smelly (we*d and sewage), and door was so difficult even the agent couldn’t get it. wouldn’t recommend if you have arthritic hands! more convenient of a stay if you’re planning to eat out a lot - not very many useful cooking utensils.
requested 2 keys which they gave us, but only one front door key to the building so 2nd set of keys was useless. messaged for a second and had no response. they had asked if we wanted sofa bed set up which we said yes and they didn’t do - room was set out for 2 people instead of 3. comfy beds, nicely furnished apartment.
do not recommend for young girls or any women travelling solo - we received a lot of harassment from men at the bar next to the building including being followed a couple of times! not the agencies fault of course but something to note to others.
