Beautiful Setting, Romantic Historic Arts & Crafts Home, Great Longs Peak Views

Amazing historic home with incredible views. I sat in the front room envisioning what it was like to be there in 1910 when it was built. Judith was so kind and easy to work with! Communicate with Judith on your needs and she’ll go out of her way to make it happen!

Great house for our Christmas weekend. Lots of space to hang out together. The host was polite and super responsive to my questions before our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes for larger groups and the host took the extra time to leave us a nice card, candy and candle. I chose four stars for a couple reasons. We made the reservation for eight people and expected beds to be set up for eight. We had to pull three twin sized mattresses out of the closets, lay them on the floor and put sheets on them. My daughter was bummed to be sleeping on the floor (albeit a mattress) for our Christmas trip. Then, my husband was less than impressed with us having to to pack out our trash. Perhaps it's my bad and I missed all of this info in the listing, but those were two things we were not expecting. While it put a damper on the trip, overall the place was good. I would recommend renting this house, just be prepared for some extra tasks.

This property checked every box for us. The house is a treasure with all its 1910 charm on full display in the very best way. Had the privilege of having a couple visits by 2 bull elks who also appreciated the peaceful charm of this homestead. We couldn’t help but wonder how much fun it would be to decorate this house for Christmas. Judy was terrific and accommodating. All she asks is that visitors love the home just as she does. No problem there! We will definitely stay again!
