This home includes an expansive gourmet kitchen, complete with top-of-the-line appliances where there are 2 dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, pantries, and microwaves! The granite countertops and an island provide plenty of space for culinary enthusiasts to prepare delicious meals. Whether you're hosting a formal dinner or a casual brunch, the dining areas can comfortably seat 21, creating the perfect ambiance for shared meals and lasting memories.

Middle Floor: King ensuite bedroom with TV and private deck, Queen ensuite bedroom with TV and access to deck with large hot tub, Ensuite bedroom with 3 bunk beds, Mid Den w/ large TV and with full bath and Queen bedroom with TV and deck access. Laundry room.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations: If, after your initial payment, you need to cancel your reservation, every attempt will be made to re-rent the property. All notices of cancellation must be in writing. If the property is re- rented at full price, you will receive a full refund of moneys paid, less a $150 cancellation fee, travel insurance premium (if purchased) and all applicable taxes. If the property is able to be re-rented, but at a discounted rate from what was paid, you will be refunded your rental payment, less the difference in the rental rate and the $150 cancellation fee. If the property is not able to be re-rented, you will forfeit all moneys paid to this reservation.

We enjoyed our week of vacation on Buck Island. It is in the middle of everything, so we walked or biked just about everywhere! Fresh seafood and shopping were very close. The pool was refreshing. The hot tub is large enough for a big group. The beach is within a reasonable walk.We did report several issues to the management company (food trash in the house upon arrival, a broken dishwasher, exterior door handle that popped off) and nothing was ever addressed. A repair guy came to look at the dishwasher, said it was the wrong brand and walked out. They said people would come to address the lock but no one ever did. When the elevator stopped working, we didn't bother reportingit since they didn't address anything else. A better property management company may help keep people returning.

The house was large, accommodations met our needs very well. It is a well maintained house. The three refrigerators and two kitchen sinks came in very handy! The living room is large enough for everyone to gather at the same time. The smaller living room was great for the younger kids to be able to play in on their own. The pool felt great! The hot tub was nice! The walk to the beach was not far at all however there are a lot of stairs. This would not have accommodated my father in a wheelchair if he had come. We would have had to drive down to a public access. We liked the proximity of the neighborhood to the Currituck light house. My sister enjoyed renting bikes and going out for a bike ride each morning. Lots to see and do in the town of Duck.

There were 13 of us all together. From age 82 to 4 months old. From check in to check out everyone was not only happy but completely content. Everything we needed was provided in this beautiful home. The kitchen was equipped with more than we could have even thought of. We cooked most of our meals at the house. We sat as a family in the spacious dining room. The bedrooms were thoughtfully decorated and things like extra pillows and blankets were provided. Family games and DVD’s were also plentiful. A playpen was provided and came in handy for my granddaughter. The hot tub was clean and spacious. We took full advantage of both the hot tub and the pool. We stayed in what is considered off season yet found the pool still useable. The elevator was a must as my husband is handicapped. It allowed my husband to take advantage of all the amenities the house offered. The location of this house was perfect. We were able to be on the beach by foot in 5 minutes and we drove to the horses in about 10 minutes. Close to shopping and restaurants as well. The best part of this house was that it clearly was put together by a family. It felt like a home rather than a house. We will absolutely return to The Green Dolphin.
