About this house rental
This secluded property will be more than your home away from home. It will be your complete escape from everything. Enjoy three levels of decking complete with gas grill, fire pit and access to a catch and release pond with largemouth bass and bluegill. This four acre property borders the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge giving you unobstructed views and a private wooded area that surrounds the home. Additionally boasts in-floor radiant heat system and hardwood floors throughout the entire main level.
Inside is an open concept great room with stunning, wood-lapped vaulted ceilings and nine-foot ceilings throughout the entire home. Take in the views through the two-story, floor to ceiling windows and enjoy the fireplace. Enjoy a meal and cook in the fully appointed kitchen with island seating. Off the dining area is the glass doors to the porch area where you can do anything from relax with a book or grill for your whole group. From the large entry mudroom is access to the half bath. On this main level is a large master suite with a king bed and attached bathroom with a tiled shower.
Up the stairs from the living area is a loft bedroom with queen bed, and en suite bathroom. Down in the walk out basement is a large rec room with Ping-Pong table and direct access to the lower deck. There are two bedrooms, one with and queen bed, the other with a double bed and a shared hall bath.
You’ll feel like you're away from it all but still be close to all of the areas attractions. When you come to a home like this it will instantly put you in the vacation mindset.

Great house & location. I would suggest switching to keyless entry to remove the necessity or picking up/dropping off keys at the realty company. Loved the little pond and the privacy of the house! We would definitely return!

We had a lovely time visiting with our son and partner. Enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong and puzzle doing. All in a quiet, peaceful setting. It was perfect for our use. Lots of hiking nearby. Your team was very efficient and helpful

The house is in a good location and easy to find. Beds were in good condition. There isn’t any air downstairs, but it wasn’t hot. The grill was dirty and we had to used matches to lit the burners because the igniter was missing.(this should be mention on the description so guess come prepared with matches or lighter). We have stayed in other cabins before and this was the first time we had to start the laundry for towels & linens before departure.
