Experience an unforgettable getaway with your loved ones in this charming cottage tucked away beside the quay in the heart of the village of Appledore. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms, it’s the perfect accommodation choice for families or groups of friends who want to escape to a unique home-away-from-home while they discover the wild beauty of the North Devon coast. Spend wonderful days surfing or kiteboarding at Westward Ho!, and in the evening, come home to the cottage to host a joyful dinner in the stylish dining area.
Enter this reverse-level home and proceed upstairs to the lovely open-plan living/dining/kitchen. Take a moment to make yourself at home in the contemporary-style living area – a lovely space with exposed brick walls and a beamed apex ceiling. Head to the stylish kitchen area to rustle up some dinner for your loved ones - you'll find everything you need to let your culinary skills shine – and then gather everyone to eat in the stylish dining area. After dinner, take a gentle stroll to the picturesque quay, or spend a little time chilling out in front of the TV in the living area. At the end of the day, there are two nicely-styled bedrooms downstairs.
Explore fascinating exhibits and learn about the region's rich artistic legacy at Burton Art Gallery and Museum (3 miles) – there are galleries, workshops, a bistro and a museum to explore. Or take a stroll to Appledore Quay (0.5 miles) to see the colourful fishing boats bobbing in the water. Alternatively, make your way to the beautiful sandy beach at Instow (5 miles) for a picnic. Please note that there is no fire in the sitting room.
