Welcome to Beach Break at Cambridge Cove at Bermuda Bay!
As you pull into the Cambridge Cove neighborhood, part of the Bermuda Bay community, you may wonder if you took a wrong turn somewhere and have ended up on a Caribbean Island. The vibrant hues of the homes and the pool in the community are bright and cheerful and create a fabulous first impression of your Outer Banks vacation home.
This community is widely known for enjoying sunset viewing and quiet vacationing. The exclusive amenities available to you as a guest of this wonderful resort include a lazy river, sparkling pools, a fun splash pad with various water features lots of fun toys, and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing. The Elbow Beach Clubhouse includes a fitness center, lounge area, pool table, and a full bathroom for guest use. The clubhouse and fitness center are open year-round from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Bay has a pier perfect for fishing, launching kayaks, or just enjoying the view.
Every member of the family can find something to enjoy here! If you're longing to feel the sand in your toes and simply must visit the beach, it's a very convenient 1.1-mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities to the beautiful Kill Devil Hills beaches.
The open concept living room just invites interaction between family and friends. Curl up on the comfy Queen sleeper sofa, pop a bag of popcorn, and enjoy a movie with the group as you take advantage of the flat screen HDTV. For some extra relaxation time, hang out in the additional living space on the first level. Here you will find a sofa, flat screen TV, and a foosball table. It's wonderful to have choices, isn't it?
Look out over the beautiful green space from the balcony of your 3-bedroom townhome. It's the perfect spot to enjoy the breeze in your hair with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and do some people watching! With the table and chairs, you may just decide to enjoy all your meals out here, too! The fully equipped and spacious white kitchen will tempt the family chef into creating some wonderful dishes. You can all enjoy them together in the dedicated dining area with seating for 6.
The fourth level is an oasis of privacy. Imagine having an entire floor to yourself with a plush King-size bed, a separate sitting area, and a bathroom with large shower stall. It may be hard to force yourself to come downstairs. The additional En Suites are on the second level. The first is a Queen with access to a lovely private balcony. What a great spot to enjoy a few moments alone or a quiet conversation with your sweetie. The second En Suite features two Twin beds. The kids will feel like royalty with their private bathroom! Each of the En Suites boast a flat screen HDTV. No more fighting over what show to watch!
Your family will have everything they want and need at this wonderful community and you will return again and again!
This property has 2 parking spots for guests in the garage and one spot outside.
Trailers, U-Hauls, and campers are not permitted in the Bermuda Bay community.
Guests are permitted access to the garage. Challenge your friends to a game of ping pong with the table stored in the garage!
The Bermuda Bay community private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on weekends only (Friday to Sunday) May 1 to May 17. Beginning May 22, the pool will be open daily and close on October 1 for the season. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.
Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

I had just celebrated my 60th birthday the day before started our vacation. This was the perfect place to get away and just enjoy ourselves. My family said this was the best place we had ever stayed on our vacations. It was clean and very roomy. It was also close to the beach and the pool was great. My 11 y/o granddaughter didn't want to leave.

Booking and access to the home were very simple. AC was cold and garage parking was nice. Each bedroom having it's own full bathroom was very convenient with 8 total guests. We were all able to spread out and showering was a breeze. The location of the home to the clubhouse/pool was perfect (about a block away). The community pool and slide were the highlight of our stay.
Areas that need attention from the owner were:
*Icemaker in the freezer made a knocking noise (nonstop). We ended up buying bagged ice and turning g off the ice maker.
*Stand alone A/C unit in 3rd floor was loud when cycling on and off throughout the night. Made it difficult for guests to get a peaceful night's sleep.
*Handle on microwave was detached at the bottom and was on the verge of falling off completely.
*Light bulbs were out in several locations.
*Pots and pans provided were less than desirable.
*Dryer would not completely dry clothes after 3 attempts with the same load of laundry.
*Only had 1 trashbag provided in the kitchen.
*Floor vents for HVAC were rusted.
*Dish rack in dishwasher was rusted and prongs were missing/broken off from rusting.
*Exterior siding and front door had paint bubbling off of them.
*Wooden deck and exterior stairs need power washing and sealing.
*Laminate kitchen countertop had a hump in it where the laminate skin was no longer attached.
*Smoke detector batteries were dead in the upstairs bedroom which created a chirping sound nonstop.
I would stay in the community again because of the clubhouse and pool but would not stay in this townhome again.
