About this house rental
The ultimate Texas Hill Country getaway!
Relax and unwind while enjoying a unique stay in our barndominium.
Your future Vrbo boasts all the perks of the Texas Hill Country views, while only 10 minutes from Lake Travis boat ramp access, 30 minutes from Austin, 10 minutes from Lago Vista, and 45 minutes from the airport!
Originally a Quonset hut, our newly renovated home has an open floor plan, lofted ceilings, and sleeps 10. Split your time between the stock tank pool/hot tub and the spacious dining/living room perfect for board games or movie nights.
-The space-
Whether you're looking to enjoy a book in front of the electric fireplace or movie nights on the 70'' tv (We provide MAX and Netflix) the living room is a great place to unwind. The dining room currently seats 6, but could easily fit more if needed, and the kitchen island can seat an additional three. The modern kitchen has a gas stove, updated furnishes, and we keep the spices stocked and provide basic cooking essentials!
The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, television, and an attached bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.
Pull the book on our bookshelf to open the secret door to the second bedroom! This space is cozy but sleeps four with two sets of bunk beds. This room also includes a television.
The third bedroom has a queen bed, breezy styling, and a television for late-night movies.
The second bathroom is located in the main living space and has a large walk-in shower and bidet. Located next to the bathroom is a washer and dryer closet that you're welcome to use!
Head up to the loft for some additional amenities. While in the heat of Texas summer, the loft can be hot during the day, but it does cool down at night. There is a pull-out sofa that can sleep two, a love seat, a cozy reading chair with a view, a variety of board games, and a foosball table.
Outside you can enjoy the stock tank pool/hot tub, while cooking on the new propane grill. After you're done swimming you can play cornhole, or a variety of other outdoor games. End the night watching the sunset on our comfy front porch swing or roasting some s'mores over the firepit!
Starlink internet provided to cover all your entertainment and remote work needs.

There is a long private driveway with ample parking for your cars.

The surrounding area hosts some eclectic properties (On both ends of the scale) and very friendly neighbors. We're based in the country, so if you give a little wave when passing on the street, you'll be sure to get one back! The property is only ten minutes from Lake Travis, Jones Brothers park and their public boat ramp (Due to current draught conditions access may vary), several great local restaurants, and we'll provide our Local Guide upon check-in for all the best food recommendations, hiking locations, and things to do in and around Austin Texas!
Please no animals on the property or smoking in or around the house (feel free to smoke by the fire pit).

The Barndominium was super clean, has a nice and well-stocked kitchen, and was comfortable. The neighborhood is eclectic as described in the details. The tv stations didn’t always stream well but that was minor. We had a relaxing stay while visiting our family and would recommend the place is you want something a bit out of the way and different. I gave one star less because the pool was also advertised as a hot tub but the instructions for heating it up are more than a hot tub and the cover would have poured all the water and debris into the container.

Absolutely adorable place to stay! It’s in a cozy spot that feels remote, but is within a reasonable drive to Austin or cedar park. The house itself was very clean and well kept, everything worked well that I used, the beds were comfortable, absolutely zero complaints! The host was extremely responsive and helpful as well. The only thing I wasn’t expecting was not having cell service outside the house, so that made getting inside the first time a little tricky because I couldn’t access the door code in my app. Other than that it was amazing!! I would absolutely recommend!

Kerri was a great host! The barndominium was perfect for us to host an engagement party at. Big open spaces from the kitchen, dining and living room. It also had a great amount of parking space. We also used it for accommodations. Kerri provided everything for us and we slept really good. We will definitely stay here again!!!

First time staying in a barndominium and what an experience it was. Excellent location and beautiful property. Exceptionally clean and well presented for a relaxing stay. Would definitely return if staying in this area again. Highly recommend.
