Casa da Borboleta can accommodate a maximum of 6 people.
The house is an excellent example of a traditional farmhouse, spacious and renovated to a high standard. The furniture has been chosen to match the Portuguese style of the house, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Originally the family’s farmhouse, it would have been the central hub of the farm—where the family ate, relaxed, and slept. The current dining room was once the wine cellar, and during renovations, two large stone wine vats were removed, suggesting the farm was once a major wine producer—over a hundred barrels per year. The living area at the end of the house, with doors opening onto the outer patio, was once where the farmers’ cows were kept and milked.
The house is strictly non-smoking.
