Casa de Campo Monte Abades

The property is fabulous. The rooms were big and the beds super comfortable. The kitchen was bigger than my kitchen at home and had everything we needed/wanted. The area was pleasant with lots of places to explore. We did make use of the wood stove as the evenings were a little chilly even in early June. The house comes with 4 bedrooms, we only used two. Additionally this was the perfect place to say as we explored the area.

Unfortunately I had a flat tire and while I called the number that the host left for us I was never able to speak to anyone. Through my insurance I was able to contact people to come help me. And I got two new tires.

Was für ein fantastisches Häuschen. Wunderbar ausgestattet und sehr außergewöhnlich. Flora, die Gastgeberin, war ausgesprochen freundlich und wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Im einzigen kleinen Restaurant des Ortes kann man übrigens hervorragend essen. Am besten vorher anrufen und reservieren, nicht weil es so voll ist, sondern damit sich die Eigentümer darauf einstellen können. Es gibt zwar keine Speisekarte, aber man kann bedenkenlos einfach alles bestellen, was am jeweiligen Tag gerade frisch zubereitet wurde. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Ein tolles Haus für eine Familie oder Gruppe von Freunden. Mit einem sehr großen Auto kann man allerdings nicht direkt davor parken, weil die Gassen sehr eng sind. Das ist aber kein Problem, weil es in unmittelbarer Nähe einen Parkplatz gibt.
