About this cottage rental
Making the most of the Victorian building, this bay-fronted, ground floor apartment maximises space to create a large, one bedroom apartment. With separate access via its own front door, Hamilton features a very large bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a large living-dining area. The large original sash windows compliment the double height ceilings in the living room, creating a cosy, yet grand feel. This flat is larger than the average one-bedroom apartment and is favoured by those seeking easy access and privacy. It is enhanced by an outdoor patio space with seating area and washing line.
Originally named for our long-term tenant 'Mr Hamilton', we hoped to maintain our sustainability commitment by keeping the existing signage. That's why we were delighted to discover medical marvel Lillias Hamilton was educated at Cheltenham Ladies' College. The flat features:
a fully-fitted and equipped kitchen, including hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, and microwave en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower double bed, and bedroom furnishings including a full size wardrobe smart TV gas central heating
Please note, although the flat is on the ground floor, there is a step at the front door. While this can be bridged with a ramp, and we have done our best to make the flat as accessible as possible, the historic nature of the building has placed some limits on our accessibility measures and wheelchair users will find it restrictive. This is a most lovely apartment!!! It consists of three rooms and a bathroom. All rooms are large, and spacious. The apartment was spotless when I arrived. The bed was so comfortable. I used the washing machine a few times, but could not get the dryer to work. I would suggest more detailed instructions on its use be provided to guests, especially foreign guests. The flat is located in a very quiet neighborhood. I do not drive in England any more (age), so a car is manditory to see the area. I had friends living locally who got me where I wanted to go. This is a great place to stay for a single person, or a couple. I would stay there again.

It was tidy and clean and the room was nice, the only issue was that we couldn’t find a duvet for our kids, but that was soon resolved. Overall our stay was lovely.
