This property features expansive on-site amenities, including a newly-renovated outdoor pool. Get in a workout at the fitness facility then relax in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, or steam room. Pick up some souvenirs in the lobby gift shop, then retreat to your room with complimentary DVD rentals. SunDestin boasts over 3,000 s.f. of meeting room space, making it the perfect destination for weddings, reunions, and business functions. Seasonal amenities include an outdoor tiki bar, and beach chair and umbrella rentals (fee). Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.
SunDestin Unit 1502 is a lovely one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to six. This restful sanctuary brims with light and sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll find plenty of cozy seating in the living room and chairs for six at the dining table. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything needed to create fabulous meals and entertain, with plenty of counter and cabinet space, as well as a stackable washer and dryer for added convenience. Enjoy the private balcony, directly overlooking the gulf, or catch a game on one of two large, flat screen televisions. When it’s time to get some shuteye, retire either to the master suite with king-sized bed, the twin bunks nestled in the hallway, or the queen-sized sofa bed in the living room.
SunDestin Beach Resort, located in the heart of Destin, is just minutes from a multitude of activities. Take the whole family to a water park or charter a boat and meander about for dolphin sightings. Spend an afternoon parasailing or scuba diving, exploring Destin’s natural and man-made reefs, or take leisurely strolls on the beach.
Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.
Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Please note that the splash pad is currently not operable and will remain closed until further notice while ownership determines future plans for the area. The fitness center remains open for guest use during this time.
Guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. Please also note that there is currently a temporary detour in place for lobby access as enhancement work continues in select areas of the resort.
While construction activity is still present on-site, it is now far less invasive than it has been previously as the project enters its final stages and crews continue winding down operations. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations while setting clear expectations in advance to help ensure a comfortable and positive stay during this improvement phase.

Stayed in a few places on the Emerald Coast and they have all been similar. This one is typical. The staff was super friendly and the view was fantastic. FYI that pic of the sofa is old but they have a new sofa (as of March 2026) in there so your toosh won't sink in :) Good value for money and locaton.

I loved our stay! The price for a late-June condo ON THE BEACH was awesome! The furniture in our particular condo was slightly dated but that didn’t matter to us a bit. My kids also now think regular beds are awful and bunk beds are the ONLY way to sleep, so now I know they loved those. The only thing I could say is something that is unpreventable and I remember telling my husband that I don’t know how they clean the sand out as much as they could. You guys did amazing and I’m sure we all know sand is impossible to get out. There was also a chair in the dining area that was loose but we placed a throw pillow there so our kids knew not to sit on it.Having a small restaurant in the lobby was fabulous because the night we got there we didn’t want to go anywhere or cook anything. And my husband loved the little shop because he could get ice instead of driving to a gas station or convenience store. The staff was so friendly and made everything so easy. There were several families checking in at the same time as us but they still had smiles on their faces and were so pleasant. Concierge was also so helpful when I needed to know where to rent chairs, where to find little things, etc. and they were so attentive! Thank y’all for an awesome stay!

The property was in a great location, close to everything. Condo was clean and comfortable. View from the balcony was awesome. We all loved our time there.

Overall the location was perfect however, very disappointed that I was not informed until already on my way about the renovations happening. When I booked this place it did not mention that the outdoor pool and hot tub were not working along with the noisy construction. My room was not very clean and I did not have a working dishwasher, vacuum and no dust pan. This made for a sandy mess. Also had construction workers smoking on the balcony below me to where I could not sit on my balcony and enjoy the view.
I understand renovations need to happen, would have been nice to know before booking.
