About this house rental
Traditional house with a dovecote, nestled among the vineyards, featuring a large pool, several terraces, and an outdoor kitchen.
Located on the hills above the village of Grézels, bordering the vineyards of Château de Chambert, less than 10 minutes from the villages of Puy l’Evêque and Prayssac.
Upon arrival at the gate, take the driveway leading to the house, where you’ll discover the large 12x6 pool with its fully equipped outdoor kitchen perfect for long summer evenings (wood-burning fireplace, plancha grill, table, and chairs).
Beautiful stone terraces with breathtaking views of the wooded valley. Lounge chairs.
The main house includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen: induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, high-end coffee maker, microwave, table, and chairs
- A first bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity unit, towel warmer, storage, and washer-dryer
- A separate toilet
- A stone-walled sitting area with a fireplace (insert)
- Dining room with a family table seating 12 people
- Spacious living room with 2 sofa beds, armchairs, and ottomans. TV with internet, Canal+, and Netflix included
- 1 master bedroom with a double bed and storage
Two suites with their own covered terraces are located outside the house. They are accessed from the terrace via a charming stone staircase. Double beds, storage, private bathrooms, walk-in showers, and private toilets. Direct access to the garden.
The dovecote, converted into an office, allows those who love to “work from home” to get some privacy with free Wi-Fi access.
Several terraces to enjoy the garden.
Finally, you’ll have access to a ping-pong table, a foosball table, and various board games.
A hot tub is available for you to relax and enjoy starry summer evenings.
A large parking lot for your vehicles.
Close to the villages of Puy l’Evêque and Prayssac, 40 minutes from the towns of Cahors, Lauzerte, and Montcuq.
You can visit castles and wineries such as Château de Chambert and Domaine des Sangliers, or explore the Lot Valley by boating on the Lot River.
For sports enthusiasts, there are hiking and biking trails.
In the summer, the surrounding villages offer a variety of events (markets, festivals, flea markets, etc.)

We had a fabulous time, Xavier and Cecile were fantastic and the house is so beautiful, a real home from home. It is set high on a hillside and is very peaceful. The pool was wonderful. Thank you for a great stay.

My partner and her 17 year old daughter stayed for two weeks. My adult children plus a couple of friends joined us during the visit. The property is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The outside kitchen in particular is superb for the evening bbq. Xavier and Cecile the hosts are very helpful and have done a great job with the property which is well appointed and beautifully finished.The local area is really beautiful and quiet. Would definitely like to go back again at some point.

Stayed for 5 days with our children 12 and 15. House and pool beautiful, immaculate. So peaceful. Everything you need. The only thing I would say is that we didn’t realise from the listing that two of the three bedrooms are outside of the main house on another level down some outside steps, although still attached to the house. This could affect a family if their children were much you her than ours. Great stay and would definitely return.
