About this house rental
We are a Military family ourselves, Air Force and Army came together and had 4 wonderful boys. We have a soft spot for all military branches, specifically built thinking of our Military Grads.
We want to make sure our Grads enjoy their families away from the pressures that they have endured during this life changing commitment.
Our house is located just 2 minutes away from Lackland AFB and other popular destinations such as Sea World! As military veterans ourselves, we understand the importance of finding comfortable and convenient accommodations when away from home. Inside the house, you'll find a cozy and tastefully decorated space and all you need for a stress-free stay! Or If you are looking for a nature retreat with your graduates and still being close to the base ask us about our houses in Canyon Lake!

We stayed for our newly minted Airmans BMT graduation. The location is ideal being close to the base gate (could actually hear base activities, which was very neat!) and also close to the HEB and other convenient stores. The home was exactly as described, clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was great having a washer and dryer!There were 3 TV's total and I couldn't figure out how to work one of them - but I really didn't care enough to ask and that was likely a "me" problem.Outside amenities were not as pretty as pictured, partially due to the season - they need some maintenence.This would not deter me from renting this property for a BMT graduation and I am likely to rent it for future visits to my Airman at JBSA Lackland.

Overall this property was ok and it was VERY close to Lackland which was why we were there. For the price per night the family was a little disappointed.1. The playground DOES NOT match the pictures. This was the only other thing (outside of the location) that convinced me to book this property. The pictures were of when it was first done. Now the nails are working their way out on the top of the frame. The black paper under the rocks (those that are left) is shredded and showing through. The make shift benches (cinder blocks and wood) are showing their age. There are singing nettles growing on the walking path. Cigarette butts in the back yard, used diapers and trash in the carport. NO shade.2. The neighborhood is an older neighborhood and could be judged unfairly. We didn't have any problems and felt safe the whole time.3. The shower curtain in the master bath doesn't cover the whole shower so the bathroom will be soaked when showering. The shower is spacious and water pressure was good. We had to use towels along the whole shower to keep the floor from flooding.4. Beds were decent but nothing to lavish. I slept well. My partner and I slept on the master and it squeaked when we turned. I think it is the bedframe itself.5. You can tell it is an older home because of the lack of electrical outlets in bedrooms. a power strip is provided.6. Kitchen had the basics of what you would probably need but we only stayed a few nights so we ate out most of the time.

This was a great place for my family of 5 the owner was very fast at responding to question and concerns. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend if you stay in San Antonio.

Stayed close to base for early mornings. Location was very convenient and worked greatYard was unkept, master shower was not useable as only a little water trickled out and it was cold Home and yard could use some TLC Host was responsive and over all a good spot
