The apartment is as advertised. Very spacious for EU apartment & very clean. Super well located (2 reg blocks away from Ponte Vecchio, 1.5 blocks away from Ponte Santa Trinita, 3.5 regular blocks from the Uffizi Gallery). Washer machine washes & dries well, but takes a long time to wash (2.5 hrs/load), which worked well for us. Though the apartment is on the first floor (US second floor), the steps are quite steep and narrow to get to it (this is standard in this area of Florence, so it was expected, and it adds to the charm in our opinion), so not very accessible for elderly or people with motion disabilities. The apartment comes fully furnished, but it needs a new ironing board. The bed is very comfortable. The only cons were the key pick up. You need to go to a Cafe (Bar Rosso 50), which is about a block away from Santa Maria Novella train station. This is not an issue if you arrive by train, but if you take a taxi or Uber, then it is a problem. We arrived by train, and walked to the apartment (about 10 minute walk), so it was not a big deal for us. The other con was that upon arrival the shower was missing a door. I reached out to management, which responded promptly, and they offer to fix while we were there. We opted to not do it as we didn't want anyone coming into the apartment while we were out. Shower has 2 heads, so we used the hanging one. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be rebooking this unit if available when we come back next year!

Modern apartment in a great location in Florence. It's clean & spacious with a modern bathroom, washing machine and the AC works great. Management company is meh, but the apartment is really good. Quick notes on items specific to this apartment, as seen in other postings... - Yes, it's 40 narrow steps. You need to be healthy and able to carry your own luggage up these stairs. - Yes, it's in the middle of a great neighborhood that is occasionally noisy. If you want quiet, then another part of town would be better for that. - Yes, the apt could use more lightening, but that's consistent with Europe, not unique to this apartment. Couple notes to the management company - the ironing board was broken during my stay, and needs to be replaced. The cook top needs some instructions for use. It would be nice to leave some washing detergent for clothing, but not a deal breaker.

This apartment is just minutes away from the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, the Uffizi, the Accademia. Everything is an easy walk away, and there are some very wonderful, non-tourist-trap local restaurants nearby. Be warned, though, you'll have to climb up a very narrow (less-than-2-feet-wide) set of steep stairs that winds 3 times to reach this "first" level apartment. It's a good thing we traveled with very little luggage. It's also not a very quite place to stay. Whether it's the older building, or being in the middle of the vibrant city, you'll hear all the noises and sounds of the city and the plumbing at night. Our hosts were responsive through WhatsApp, so you'll need that app (and notifications turned on) to communicate with them.

We spent 6 nights at the Santa Trinita Industrial Flat in late Sept/early Oct. The property met all of our needs with the layout - sitting area, small kitchen w/adjacent dining table, spacious bedroom and bathroom. The location was great and just steps from the shopping on Tournabuoni and within a 5 min walk of Piazza della Signoria. A few items that should be noted about this location include: the narrow, 40 step stairway to the apartment, challenging if you're not in great physical shape or have large bags (not an issue for us); the lack of any instructions inside the apartment for the lights (one of those European-style card systems), the stovetop or oven; the lack of window screens that negated the appeal of the cross-breeze with very hungry Florentine mosquitos. More about the mosquito infestation - after checking in, we opened the windows and after some sightseeing and dining, we came home to sleep. My husband awoke in the morning with more than 25 mosquito bites over his head and upper torso. After a 2nd painful night (even with the windows closed and the A/C on despite the cool outside temps), we contacted the owner who said they would provide insect repellent. When we returned, we found a "plug-in" device (new to us) and it turned out we had one in the apartment already. However, without any tips/warnings about mosquitos, we didn't know what it was for. The speed with which it was provided indicated this had been a problem before.
