About this house rental
Modern and stylish decor designed with you in mind, featuring a courtyard and a terrace. Located in the parish of S. Roque, on the island of S. Miguel (Azores), it’s a five-minute drive from the center of Ponta Delgada—about four kilometers away. It’s a two-minute walk from Melissa Beach, a beach for those who love water sports (surfing, bodyboarding, kitesurfing). Perpendicular to the street is a road with bus stops where you’ll find transportation to the city center or to some of the island’s attractions.
T2 + 2 with two bedrooms—one double bedroom (with part of the wall below ground level) and one bedroom with a double bed, an open-concept living area with a sofa bed, a living room, a restroom, a kitchen that opens onto a dining area, a courtyard, and a terrace, ideal for four guests, but can accommodate up to 5 people.
There are many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area. The restaurant closest to the house usually screens cartoons during the summer season. There is also a bike path along the coast where you can walk, jog, or bike through the historic city center.

Enjoyed every aspect of this rental from the cleanliness, location, space and accessibility to area amenities. The host was very accessible and communicated very quickly. It was able to accommodate a family of five comfortably. Having the washer and full usable kitchen made it very efficient in maintaining the needs of a busy family. The only negative was the size of the bathroom and drainage issues we had with the shower. It required constant maintenance which wasn’t the biggest issue as we were able to work around it. Would rent this unit again.

Would definitely stay here again. Very nice place with a deck viewing the ocean. Owner was easy to reach and very friendly in showing us around the place. Was a good spot from which to drive out to many beautiful vistas around the island and the thermal pools (Caldeira Velha) though driving is a bit challenging on the narrow winding roads climbing mountains.
