Gorgeous House

Matilde and Joaquim were the most exceptional hosts. They welcomed us with kindness and generosity, every request was fulfilled sometimes before we could even utter it. The house is big, beautiful and fully equipped with everything and more. The location is highly accessible, it only takes a few minutes to the airport, supermarket and the highways. Highly recommended!

Very good quality of the house, very well maintained, very quiet, relaxing, residential area, typical Portuguese design to experience that style of living. The host is very friendly, supportive, respectful. I will certainly rent that place again when I am in Azores next time. A little suggestion for travelers: the location is a bit far from the center of Ponta Delgada, so if you don't have a car then it might take you about 20-30 mins to walk to the center. It was totally ok with me, but you know your preferences better. However, you can always call a taxi (central taxi phone number can be easily found on the internet or ask the host for it) if you have a cell phone. It costs about 10 euros for a ride to the center. Thank you, I had great time there !

I am asked to comment on how was the breakfast but this was not part of the package so not relevant. Our stay was excellent the place was in a great location for everything. Everything was clean. Our hosts were amazing. Anything we asked of them they did their best to accommodate. They are warm and friendly people, I can not praise the stay enough and each time we visit the azores we will definitely try to book here. 5 star treatment without the high price. I have not looked at other reviews and I dont normally give reviews but our stay was so great I feel that I want to make this review. Thank you so much to our hosts.
