Nelocas House

Absolutamente extraordinaria limpieza y comodidad. Nelia es una excelente anfitriona que cuida al máximo cada detalle para hacer que la estancia sea de lo más acogedora. Ubicación inmejorable con salida directa a la carretera que te lleva a cualquier zona de la isla con aparcamiento en la puerta. También tiene una pequeña terraza para desayunar por las mañanas al solecito, si lo hace. Lo único que el clima es bastante húmedo y hay que dejar las ventanas abiertas al irte para que se ventile todo bien. Sin duda una estancia inmejorable y que remitiría sin duda! Gracias!

Host is so kind and helpful. There is a big market just in the next street. Spacious room and bathroom.

Only downside is mini fridge’s noise next to bed.

From beginning to end the host Nélia was amazing. I had a late flight coming in and she was there to greet me and settle me in. The room is on the 1st floor. It has a kettle, a heater and a fridge, you have your own private bathroom. It's so calm and welcoming. Everything is spotless. You have plenty of towels and sheets so you can do your own housekeeping or Nélia will do it for you. The family lives 2 levels down so no one hears any noise. Nélia was full of info and always available, even when I forgot my keys and had some laundry to do. There's a small supermarket: Casa Cheia, just round the corner and I always found a parking space in front of the house. It's a 30ish minute walk to the center. As always in the Azores, keep in mind you should open the windows to ventilate the inherent dampness as much as possible. I stayed 2 weeks and felt very comfortable and welcomed. I will definitely stay again. Great value also.
