Escape to this beautifully designed carriage house-style loft, perfect for extended stays or a peaceful retreat in the Charlottesville countryside. Situated on 20 private acres, this fully furnished 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home is just 7 miles west of UVA and downtown, offering both tranquility and convenience. The owners live on site with their two dogs, but you will enjoy the privacy of a soundproof apartment and the tranquility looking out large windows to the trees and mountains.

Bedroom 1: Queen bed, small dresser, and large closet
Bedroom 2: Twin bed + trundle, office area with desk, monitor, laser printer, bookshelves, and large closet
Living Room: Solid mahogany floors and elegant Vermont slate countertops
Full Kitchen: Simple layout with storage, basic dishes and cookware, and appliances (no dishwasher)
Bathrooms: Spacious main bath (shower/tub combo) plus an additional half-bathroom
Idyllic Outdoor Setting:
Acres of open fields for walking and relaxation
Outdoor dining area with Adirondack chairs for enjoying the fresh air
Close to vineyards, wineries, and Birdwood Golf Course for weekend adventures
Amenities:
- Washer & Dryer
- High speed fiber internet
- Large plasma TV with Roku, Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO & more

The place was great! It’s tucked away just enough to feel like you’ve escaped but close enough to get to some amazing places to explore. The place was comforting and cozy and the owners were very pleasant. Their two dogs are just adorable, but a bit shy. Great views from every room! I would definitely stay again!!

Absolutely, my dogs were very welcome and the guest house is so charming. Beautiful views on all sides. The shopping is really nice with a lot of speciality and quaint shops.
