Evenlode Cottage is a beautifully refurbished Grade II listed Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps two guests (no children aged 17 or under permitted), in one well-appointed bedroom, with two spacious shower rooms. On the ground floor you have a stylish open plan kitchen/dining area with access to the seating area in the communal courtyard, a space to enjoy all year round. Indoors there is a cosy snug with Smart TV and electric flame effect fire. Just seconds from the market square, Evenlode Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two medium sized dogs.

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage, Stow on the Wold was perfect. The cottage was gorgeous and the parking space was an added bonus.The only downside of our stay was finding stains on Mattress protector when we stripped the bed.

Evenlode Cottage in Stow-on-the-wold is the ideal location to enjoy all the wonderful restaurants and boutique shops.
The Cottage is perfect for couples, a very cozy environment.

Well located little cottage in easily walkable Stow-on-the-Wold. We really appreciated the under floor heating, heated towel rails, fresh linen, cooking facilities, washing machine, the milk and sponge left for us, the list goes on! Evenlode Cottage really does have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only thing is the bed and sofa were very soft (as in, sink in to) some may like that, we prefer firmer. And a problem created by guests staying in the other cottages was their dog’s POO left in the yard!! We had to tread with great care every time we went to our car.

Lovely little property in a really good location. Very well appointed & extremely cosy. My only constructive criticism was that it was difficult to locate initially. Rather than messing about with apps, just let visitors know in the property info’ that the entrance (via the white gates) is opposite the Police Station. Simple…
