The Staircase is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday home which sleeps four guests, in two bedrooms, each with their own modern bathroom. Throughout the property, original features such as Cotswold stone walls and exposed wooden beams have been lovingly restored and, when paired with the interiors, create a wonderful homely atmosphere. The Staircase benefits from a well-equipped kitchen, two living areas and a central location in Stow-on-the-Wold's market square. It is also a dog friendly holiday home, welcoming two medium sized dogs!

King size bed (can be two 75cm wide single beds on request), two bedside tables, clothes rail and hairdryer

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates

Really comfortable stay at The Staircase with lovely fittings and fixtures, a proper home from home with a perfect location on The Square. Nice and quiet, and easy to find parking options during the stay. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

You can’t get a better location right in the middle of town, yet so quiet. Plenty of places to eat and the pub next door was excellent with fabulous helpful staff and great food. Would definitely recommend this as a central base for visiting the area
