About this house rental
Outdoor sports for the whole family! Pickleball, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and more on 10 private acres. Summer weeks we typically rent Friday to Friday. Spacious ranch-style, non-smoking home nestled among prairie and woods in a rural area. Available for year-round rental. Quiet and private location — plenty of yard space with a campfire area to enjoy s'mores
Good place for slowing down from fast-paced, busy life. Re-engage with family & friends in comfortable, peaceful environment. Find peace in the easy, relaxed setting. Lots of trees and birds to watch from the hammock.
In the summer, enjoy in the spacious yard, walk the two labyrinths (classic and chartes), play pickleball, basketball or volleyball. There are wonderful open spaces for kites, croquet, and picnicking.
In cooler weather, go apple-picking at one of the local orchards or take a stroll or bike ride down the Kal-Haven trail, just minutes away.
On rainy days, there is ping pong in the great room on the lower level or movies to watch. During the winter, cross-country skiing and sledding are nearby or build a snowfamily right outside the door.
Cook in the roomy kitchen, barbecue outside or go out to some of the fantastic South Haven restaurants. The dining area can seat 16. The yard is equipped with a picnic table and deck tables and chairs for eating outdoors.

Property was great and house was clean. Tons of space and beds to accomodate our large group, and we loved all the amenities on the property. Very close to south haven and right next door to beeches golf course.

We had 11 guys stay for a men's ministry retreat, and it was great. A short 15 minute drive to Lake Michigan was great for sunsets and beach time, and the house itself provided all the other entertainment we needed. We loved the ping pong table, pickleball court, and long hours out at the fire pit. The inside is an open layout and can easily fit a large group. The area is nice and quiet and you feel like you are off on your own.

50th birthday party all girls and it was the perfect spot! We loved that it was private but within a five minute drive of downtown shops, the beaches, and food choices. The amenities at this place are great. We really enjoyed the fire pit and deck. Inside we had a ping pong tournament that brought lots of laughs and played games in the spacious dining area. We had 12 guests and it could have slept nearly 20. Very spacious place!
Only suggestions would be to update with painting and furnishings and decor. This would be a very cute “cottage” themed place but as of now it looks like grandma’s outdated space.
The bathroom and kitchen are updated which look great.
We didn’t get a chance to use the pickle ball court which we would have if we had more time as it looked really nice! Wish the pool was still there tho.
I would recommend this place again and again. The price was definitely right! The hosts communicated very well!
