This unit now features a newly completed salt water, private plunge pool, sun deck with loungers, and outdoor dining — all exclusive to our guests. Whether you're unwinding after a day of exploring or soaking up the Charleston sun, your own backyard oasis is waiting.

The Space:
This listing is for the upstairs unit only, and ONLY the upstairs unit has pool and garden access.
There are a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a large living area. The City of Charleston limits occupancy of this unit to no more than 4 unrelated people or a family of any size, and limits areas available for sleeping to bedrooms. We limit family occupancy to no more than 8 people. Please respect the City of City of Charleston rules, and please respect our limit on family size. If you have a family larger than 8 people, or if you have more than 4 unrelated people, you can also rent the downstairs unit, which is the same size as this upstairs unit.
The large kitchen includes a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, range, dishwasher, dinnerware, pots & pans, and basic cooking tools. There is a bar with barstools for dining space but no formal dining area.
Guest Access:
This is a private home, guests will have access to the entire upstairs apartment, and exclusive access to the pool and garden.
The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is perfect for a couple or a group who is looking to fully embrace Charleston's unique charm. MUSC is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough Neighborhood. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of shops, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of shops and restaurants, which is just four short blocks from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our beautiful city has to offer!
Getting Around:
Most everything is within walking distance. If guests do have a car, we provide three (3) off-street parking spaces. Uber & Lyft are readily available.
Other Things to Note:
• Family maximum size is 8 guests, and for non-families City of Charleston regulations prohibit any more than 4 unrelated people.
• Streaming device provided as opposed to standard cable
• Check in is at 4 PM, Check out is at 11 AM. Please consider these times when booking travel as we can not guarantee early check in's or late check out's.
• Pets are not allowed.
• Parties are not allowed. An immediate eviction will result from this rule being violated.

The apartment was well equipped and comfortable for 6 of us. There are sound machines in every bedroom that should block out any noise coming from the street. The pool was a nice a nice surprise since it wasn’t listed when we first booked the unit. It’s in a cute neighborhood with coffee shops, restaurants and some clothing shops that are only a few minutes away. King Street is a little farther but still walking distance. Would stay here again.

Hello, thank you for having us! We enjoyed the property and the charm of the 170 year old house and neighborhood. Charleston is a beautiful town! Having said that, we did notice that all of the doors could use some WD40! Perhaps the squeaky doors add character and charm, but in the middle of the night, they are a bit annoying! In addition, perhaps some towel hooks could be added in the bathrooms. We had only one hook for wet towels. The management was very responsive and helped quickly with the back bathroom shower door, but that glass that is chipped is a certain hazard - very sharp glass and it should be covered somehow. Otherwise, it's a great property! Good luck to the person selling this property - it's way out of our price range, but our stay was great! Thank you.

We visited for a wedding and stayed at this cute little townhome. It was cutely decorated just as photos. It’s a little older and needs some maintenance from the outside but the interior was spotless and cute! It was a little leaning and uneven on the floor but added to the character. The only thing we were surprised by is it’s a little further from King Street than we thought but a quick drive. Just not walkable.
