About this villa rental
Escape to Villa 40, located directly across from South Beach, where you can relax to the sound of crashing waves and the scent of salty air.
This recently renovated villa (2020, refreshed in 2024) offers an open floor plan with panoramic lagoon views and a peek of the ocean. With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, it’s perfect for your family getaway.
The living area is designed for comfort, features a queen-size sleeper sofa, two plush recliners, a fresh color palette, and a 65” Smart TV. The updated kitchen, complete with granite countertops and quality appliances, is fully stocked for home-cooked meals.
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, private bathroom with walk-in shower, and a 55” Smart TV. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, connecting bathroom, and a 55” Smart TV. The loft bedroom also has a queen bed, a private bath, and its own balcony with sunset views.
Villa 40 is ideal for outdoor fun. Enjoy the grill, relax in Adirondack chairs, or take a nap on the swinging bed under the deck.
Two golf carts, a four-seater and a six-seater (are provided for island transportation. Beach towels are included, along with a highchair and pack 'n play for families with young children.
Bald Head Island Club "lifestyle" membership is available for separate purchase.
If you're bringing a dog, there’s a $300 non-refundable pet fee.
Two video cameras monitors the garage area. Footage remains private and in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas.

Our family of seven had an amazing stay at Villa 40 on Bald Head Island! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to relax after enjoying everything the island has to offer.One of the highlights of our trip was seeing a 10-foot alligator from the back deck. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience! We also loved exploring the island by golf cart, walking the beautiful beaches, and enjoying the Bald Head Island Club pool and fitness center.Edie and Katie were wonderful hosts with excellent communication from start to finish. This was a memorable family vacation, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed in other villas and Villa 30 is definitely an upgraded property. Two specific aspects really added to our positive experience, first the loft has a shower added making it a real 3rd bedroom. Second, the outside space below the deck is lovely, with an expanded deck, large sofa swing and Adirondack chairs. We spent a lot of time here and on other properties this space was an afterthought and not enjoyable to use. Especially with the upper deck getting so much sun, it was a positive to have pleasant outdoor space that was shaded. I agree with other comments that the hosts were very communicative and easy to get in touch with. This is a great option if you are considering the Villas!

Very clear and thorough check in details along with friendly, easy to contact hosts! The house was cleaned beautifully with nice amount of cleaning supplies for your stay! Wonderful house in a beautiful place!
