The sand and shingle beach has views across the Solway to Scotland and is ideal for dog walking, or just relax and let the children play in the sand and paddle in the water. The Victorian seaside town of Silloth is a 10 min drive away. Maryport is a 15 minute drive with attractions for all the family such as the Lake District Coast Aquarium. There are several golf courses within a few miles. Keswick in the Lake District National Park is only a 40 minute drive. Beach ½ mile. Pub 60 yards.
