Casa Escondida is a peaceful two-bedroom home surrounded by tropical forest and lush gardens. This modern retreat combines privacy and comfort with a fully equipped kitchen, covered terrace, and a 42-foot swimming pool—perfect for morning laps or a refreshing dip in the shallow end designed for children. Located just five minutes from the southern end of Playa Guiones, it’s the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility.

Casa Escondida offers easy access to both Playa Guiones and Playa Garza. Guests can drive five minutes to the beach or take a 12–15 minute walk to the south end of Playa Guiones. Playa Garza provides calm swimming, local dining, and fishing charters, while Guiones Village offers surf, yoga, shopping, and restaurants—all within minutes.
A car is recommended for convenience, but taxis and airport shuttles are available. Multi-week discounts apply, and for stays of 30 days or longer, electricity is billed separately.
TRAFFIC NOISE
While the home is set within a private center with internal roads, some traffic noise may still be heard due to its relative proximity to the main road.
LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT
Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages; if reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Construction noise is also possible between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and not allowed on Sundays, as the area continues to grow.
Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.
These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.
SAFETY & CANCELLATION
While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.
Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.
Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.

Very simply, this is an elegant, secluded and beautiful home with an amazing pool in the jungle not far from a beautiful beach on the blue spirit campus. Easy ride into Nosara, great security, no downside. Can’t wait to book again someday.

Spent an amazing week with Deva Premal and Miten at Blue spirit retreat. Our little villa was clean, secluded with a beautiful infinity pool. The kitchen was full service with a nice refrigerator and washing machine. The washer and dryer left a little to be desired, but everything else was wonderful. We definitely would book here again.
