About this apartment rental
Playa Pelada is a dramatically beautiful beach located in a part of the Ostional Wildlife Refuge. Listen to the surf, the monkeys, walk to two surf spots (Pelada, Guiones and 3 if you include the boca, rivermouth), relax on the large wrap around patio or the second patio, or cool off in the large shared pool. Two minutes away are Playa Pelada’s tide pools, perfect for relaxing within an hour of low tide. Playa Guiones is less than a 5 minute walk away over a small hill. Also walking distance is multiple of the best restaurants in the area (La Luna, El Chivo, Il Pepperoni), boating/fishing, kilometers of shaded Nosara Civic Association hiking and biking trails, tennis courts, a little gourmet grocery store, and more! A car is nice is Nosara, but not a requirement in this location.
This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom (showers no tubs) condo is 1800 square feet, or 161 square meters. It has two separate balconies. The two large bedrooms each have a queen bed (and we have a air mattress which will fit in the spare room along side a queen). There is indoor and outdoor dining and a large outdoor lounge area including 2 rocking chairs (a Nosara must!). There is A/C in both bedrooms, great hot water, a large, full kitchen, 30 mg fiber internet, television with Apple TV and a nice desk. Covered and secure parking is available for one car or two quads (maybe one car and one quad). There is shared laundry on-site (same building), outdoor showers to wash the sand off, and a night guard for security and an exterior gate locked at night (renters get the code). The open air complex and long term residents require respect when it comes to sound, so please be a part of the peaceful environment. Enjoy the sound of the ocean, the jungle and the best sunsets in the world, your feet in the sand... No pets are allowed by renters. Great for two couples or a family or two serious surfers who want their own rooms and a good amount of peaceful space. Location is incredible: steps to the beach. In a nice calm neighborhood with some good restaurants nearby. Can walk 15 minutes to the more lively Playa Guiones.
Very comfortable and well appointed house. Spacious and breezy. Pool is very relaxing and nice, and special to see and hear see Howler Monkeys nearby. There are some Costa Rican quirks (i.e. water shuts off at night during busy season, septic tank can not handle toilet paper) but this is typical for all home rentals in the area. We loved our stay and would be happy to return.

The house was just as shown on the listing. The two bedrooms were very spacious. There is an electric blow up mattress that was about the size of a queen that our second son used. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. There were books and games to use. The porch was awesome for morning coffee.
It was about a 4-5 minute walk to the beach. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. You can also rent quads (ATV) or get a tuk tuk (taxi for 2) if you don’t want to drive in town.
We booked an extra night because the house was great. We would definitely stay there again.
